The skin for the console looks great but the ones for the controllers are disappointing. 4 out of 5 for the disappointment with the controller skins. Otherwise it's worth buying just for the console skin. Easy to apply and looks like the limited edition halo infinite console.

I liked the marble pattern and it goes on fairly easily. After a while (2 or 3 months) the heat of the console begins to peel back the corners of the skin...mainly from the back and the bottom. This could occur faster with people that spend a lot of time gaming as I am mostly a casual gamer. It's not a big deal if you have it horizontally in a tv cart like me, but I imagine it would be very noticeable if you have it vertically and can be viewed from all sides... You can probably add some transparent tape to help keep the edges down. i haven't tried since the front looks fine.

I don’t understand how this item can vary in quality so much. Out of the four sets I ordered, only one fit decent (and even then it wasn’t good). The common issue I find is if you line up the power button hole, all the other buttons on the front won’t be positioned correctly and will rub up against the cover, generating a bulge. Either that or the whole sticker will be shifted to the right, and there will be a very noticeable disparity in the covering of the edges. Also, for some reason, the package says to heat up the sticker with a hairdryer after applying? Which only causes the thing to shrink and eventually not adhere properly.

This skin was an awesome alternative to the limited Xbox that came out last year. As far as installation, it was super easy to slide on and all the cut outs were spot on in placing of the plug ports. The only weary thing I have to say is it may be inevitable that over time this may start sliding and shifting due to the heat of the console, but this isn’t a long time review, this is just if the initial installation and look. Don’t let that mislead you because worse case you can peel it off and order a new one! 15$ is cheap compare to the console being almost a grand now resell. Don’t overthink it, get the skin and master chief your set up!

As the title says the skin is not perfect. It’s a little blurry but for the price it isn’t that bad to make your plain black Xbox series X a little bit more eye appealing. It is not that difficult to line up cutouts are pretty accurate. Just know that the skin doesn’t reach all the way to the edges so you can see that. The skin for the controller is really a bummer but not that much of a dealbreaker for me, don’t know if I’ll keep it or remove it, but I included a picture of what it looks like.
