Nature's Bounty Cranberry Pills for Women Urinary Tract Health, Cranberry Supplements with Concentrate & Vitamin C, 120 Softgels

My wife started taking these for urinary tract health. It’s hard to tell if they made a big difference, but she says they help. Pills are a good size and easy to swallow, with no bad aftertaste. Price was reasonable, and they seem fine for regular use. Not a miracle cure, but a convenient option if you want to try cranberry supplements for general urinary support.

Cranberry extract is a great way to keep a healthy urinary track & these are the best I've come across in years...price, quantity & quality. I have gotten chronic UTIs since I was around 18 & now I'm 40. Nothing seemed to work. I was experiencing the frequent need to urinate, burning & pain when going...sometimes a couple times a month. I would go into my PCP & they would have me take the usual urine strip test & it would always came back saying I had an infection. Then, the doctor would prescribe me, yet again, an antibiotic to get rid of it. I had taken one of the antibiotic so many times that my infections became no longer sensitive to it. So, I was prescribed, yet again, another antibiotic. My mom told me about drinking a glass of cranberry juice every morning before digesting anything else. I have a sensitive stomach & it hurts to drink anything cold before I eat so I would microwave it. Warm tart cranberry juice tastes much worse than cold...take my word for it! So, I went on-line & did my research because I didn't know much about supplements & came across cranberry pills. I have compared prices & strengths of many cranberry pills & Nature's Bounty always came out being the best deal for the cost especially when I could get the 250 count for around $10/$11. I could only find that deal when my home stores would have a BOGO free sale going on...until I found them on Amazon. I have been buying these on Amazon for over 2 years now & will never go to any other manufacturer or distributor. Now, on the days that I don't drink enough water...too busy,which is alot, I'll take 6 pills 2 times a day instead of the recommended 2 pills, 3 times a day. If you won't take my word for it, then compared fruit concentrate in milligrams (this one is 4,200 mg very small gel capsule, price (this is on average on Amazon $11) & quantity (this bottle is 250). After collecting all this information, figure out the dosage recommened per day (always mind the extract milligrams, thats very important!). I did all that & this is the best cranberry pill out there & soooo small! Also, I normally get a sinus infection once or twice a year & of course, normally a cold or flu too. With the quantity of Vitamin C that is in these...I very rarely get sick since I started taking these. Please note: there is Vitamin E in these as well & Vitamin E is known to thin your blood so consult your doctor especially before having surgery. To complete this review...I will repeat that I have been taking these exact cranberry pills for years & have many less UTIs. I will continue taking them for many more years to come. They work great & the price for the quantity & quality is awesome!

Love these! They are tiny & easy to swallow! The are reasonably priced and handy to subscribe and save.

I've been using these for quite a while. They do help avoid UT infections. As for the odor some customers notice, to me they smell a little bit like chocolate and cranberries (which is a good thing to me). I have noticed the odor is stronger when I first open the bottle, especially the larger quantity 250's. I know it's possible someone has gotten a bad bottle, but I suspect it is just the smell of cranberries. Try leaving the bottle open for a while, the smell dissipates. I have a very sensitive stomach and have never had a problem.

I've been taking these cranberry softgels for long to support my urinary tract health. I appreciate that the Nature's Bounty product includes Vitamin C for extra immune support. Overall, it's a great product. The only thing which bothers me a bit is the size of the softgels. They are a bit on the larger side, which can make them slightly difficult to swallow at times. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of if you have trouble with larger pills.

Same product you see on store shelves, more bang for your buck with these bottles.

Now that I have been taking them for two months I can't honestly advise that they do anything for me. I bought them for the urinary tract idea they are easy to swallow, affordable and have no odor.
