Tian Bonsai stuff is GREAT value!!! Excellent quality bonsai tools at a fair (more than fair) price. I have several and they are holding up great. The design is classic and well done, they stay sharp, easy to use, feel great in your hand, and work well for the jobs they are made for. Obviously since they are stainless steel, you get the rust resistance you want … all without the expensive prices of the “higher end” brands … not a pro and want quality tools at a fair price? Look for Tian Bonsai stuff!!! Will get more when needed.

These seem like high-quality knob cutters, and I was happy to grab them during a flash sale—they were a great deal. They feel sturdy and function well overall. That said, I did notice a small nick or chip on one of the blades right out of the box. It was disappointing, especially since this was the upgraded version, and I expected a flawless pair. While the defect doesn’t seem to affect performance, it was enough to make me consider exchanging them—but unfortunately, they were already sold out. Still, aside from that one issue, the cutters work great and feel well-made.
