Update on my first review. Purchased the watch from Amazon received it a day early which was great. First review after taking the watch out of the box. It seemed that it had a small scratch at 12 o’clock on the ceramic basil turns out that it wasn’t a scratch Most likely glue. I’m not really sure what it was. first recommendation I would clean the watch thoroughly and then look it over. the basil wasn’t scratched movement works great no issues whatsoever watch is actually held up well while wearing in the shower no condensation noticed in the watch which could cause cloudiness behind the sapphire crystal. overall I could say many good things about the watch for the price point. I’m actually surprised the quality that you’re getting for a small price. I would definitely order one of these again.

The watch is beautiful, it has a 'sweep' second hand like a Rolex but it can't keep time. It loses several hours a day and when I reset, the hour hand is behind the time (if 3:10, the hour hand is still behind the 3:00 position) which makes it very hard to read. I don't know if I got a 'lemon' or if this is typical for the Japanese movement.

Just received this piece. It is great!! Date and bracelet all adjusted, now just to see how well it keeps time. I love it, and it feels and looks every bit as good as my genuine 126710BLRO!

It's a good looking watch, and it holds up fairly well during daily wear but it has some flaws. It requires a LOT of winding. Normal wearing of it (every day or every other day) does not always provide enough winding to it to retain time in the off hours. Secondly, and the more problematic concern is the screw pins that hold the bracelet together. They loosen up easily which causes the watch to fall of your wrist and the manufacturer will not help you with warranty if you don't buy it from them. I've had them loosen a couple of times. If you buy this, I would recommend removing each of the pins one at a time and applying thread locker to each of them for some piece of mind. Nice watch that seems to hold up

I ordered the upgraded version of the 'Pepsi' PD-1662 recently after seeing it was updated with the new Seiko NH-34 GMT movement. The non-GMT *NH-35A* found in a lot of watches is a well-constructed workhorse of a moment, and the GMT variant on this architecture is definitely encouraging. I'm going to counter all the negative reviews and share that the one I received has been perfect right out of the box, kept flawless time on my winder for a week before I unwrapped and sized it, and has not lost or gained any significant amount of time in over 2 weeks of constant operation. The new style of lume on the hour markers and on the bezel is really pleasant, but it gives the watch an overall different look and feel than the old style 1662 with the Pearl GMT movement, which had different marker lume. Overall this upgraded version feel like a 'Maxi' style with improved visibility all around. Case and bracelet remain unchanged from the prior 1662 (which I also own). The GMT hand sets with a comforting, solid click, versus the 'loose' open-ended adjustment of the Pearl GMT movement. I'll continue to wear both of these watches in good faith, but as always, I trust the Seiko movement for long live moreso than the Chinese Pearl movement. That being said, all of the Pearl GMT movement-equipped watches I own have been running with no issues at all for over 2 years now. A lot of 'problems' people have are simply poor care or treatment of the watches I think. Buy with confidence.

I have almost every model of Rolex including the new root beer and Pepsi ceramic GMT models. I also have a variety of Paganini Design homage models and I must say the RootBeer is absolutely stunning. I was happy to find the SEIKO NH34 through the display glass back. Stunning watch and a steal of a price!!!!!

Great look but marred by our cheap bracelet without even micro adjustments. Bezel has play and isn’t ceramic but aluminum. That said, look is great and if the would step on the quality as the did on the Explorer 2.( Version 3) I’d buy another.

Chiaramente un orologio che strizza l'occhio ad un modello più noto di una marca famosa, ma ha un buon movimento meccanico ed é più preciso di quello di marca. Tutto sommato un buon orologio per tutti i giorni, se si é abituati all'analogico.
