I’m very satisfied with the CXWXC Rear Bike Rack. It feels strong and stable, and it fits well even with disc brakes. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted it holds weight securely without shifting. It’s perfect for carrying bags or cargo, and the build quality feels durable for regular rides.

I have only used the rack a couple of times, so I can't comment on how it holds up, but I like the look and it appears to be solidly built. It feels light. I had to modify it to fit my Cannondale Quick CX with a disk brake because my rear dropouts are a ridiculous 7.5 in wide. Using the extenders, the rack wasn't wide enough and flipping them around they were too wide. I couldn't pry the legs open or squeeze them in, because the long bolt going through the extenders would be at an angle and wouldn't line up with the threaded holes. I got out the dremel and cut the extenders down to a good length, smoothed the ends and reamed the bolt hole out and they fit great. The top platform is nice and wide and works with my wide trunk bag and my small panniers fit nicely on the lower mount. I had to drill a hole in the back plate for my taillight as the hole that was there was too large and open at the bottom? Now that it is mounted, I am very happy with it.

Trial and error led me to this rack which proved to be the right choice. I had trouble finding a rack that worked for my Cannondale Synapse since there was little room under my seat to attach a rack with the provided clamp. (The clamps were too wide requiring me to increase the seat height, and that just wouldn’t be an option.) This rack was best for its adjustable arms, but I had to buy a small clamp separately so the rack arms had something to which to attach. That’s a problem with this style bike and not the rack itself. Once the clamp was in place, the rack was a breeze to install. Good quality, light weight and durable. Very pleased.

Okay okay, you are going to be suprised. If you zoom into the metal mounting object in my photo, you will noticed that it is secured to a T-adaptor. I didn't even know this product come with it!!! It work perfectly well. Note, you need a power tool to secure the nut for the long bolt that hold the t-adopter in place. You can get away with the other nut / bolt como, but not really this one (as the rear rack will sway a lot due to not being held down probably). Also, this manual come with instruction that is the MOST mid manual I have ever read. Its instruction are so bad but yet they are not horrible. It will be like, "Installed this". How would you even do that? FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF DUM DUM. P.S. I do have one more nitpick though. The hook that come with this have such a short length that it is not obviously not meant to carry the rear rack cargo, but rather, any pannier pack. I was kind of disappointed, so I would recommend anyone reading this to buy some buckle strap for the back cargo.

I bought this with the basket attachment and it's been helpful. Construction seems mostly sturdy and it wasn't too hard to install. I bike daily to and from work, and at the 6 month mark one of the long brackets snapped so I have to find a replacement.
