Red Transtex Ultra Glide Slide Sheet with Handles 200 x 71cm

Great product. Not all slide sheets have handles so this seemed like a good option and it has been a great help for moving my disabled dad about on his bed. Was concerned the handles might rip off due to his weight but so far they have stayed put and seem to be well stitched. Really happy with the quality of this item.

I bought this to help the carers who are looking after my bed ridden father. They are impressed with it but mention that the usual slide mats are a loop whereas this one is a single sheet. It does work, but the district nurse team delivered a loop version this week and that does seem to be a better option than this potentially. That said the sheet is long although not as wide as the loop version so I would recommend you consider both options when deciding which type of mat to order. As the nurses recommended the loop version I'm dropping one star in the rating.

Good quality easy to use and clean .

These are disposable. After first use, the fabric frayed and are now condemned. Label tells you they are patient specific and disposable and can not be laundered/washed. Good price, but expensive for single use!

The fabric was too slippery and was difficult to control.

Really helps to move my ill farther about in bed. Thought it might just break as was very cheap, but hasn't, very good value for the money.

I am very happy with this sheet. One needs to be aware of the Ultra-Glide which is both positive and negative. It makes all movements easier - however if you are not careful you could "glide" out of bed and find yourself on the floor.
