My wife and I are big believers in Red Ginseng for energy boost and for its overall as health benefits. We’ve tried many different types of products and more expensive items, so I think we have a good point of comparison. Compared to other red ginseng products we’ve tried, this is definitely one of our favorites and one that we will continue to purchase. First of all, it’s really important for us that the products are manufactured in Korea with ginsengs that are at least 6 years old, which is the gold standard in my opinion. We also didn’t want something that had a lot of preservatives and other artificial additives, and this one doesn’t. It also has the right certifications for a dietary supplement from Korea’s FDA equivalent agency, which is great. Finally, the taste. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about because this TASTES GREAT for a ginseng product! I’ve tried so many other similar products, and some of them are genuinely hard to tolerate. This one is honestly a little treat for me and my wife. Now, all legitimately ginseng products WILL taste bitter. If you purchase a ginseng product that doesn’t have some sort of bitterness to it, you probably purchased a fraudulent product. This one does have some bitterness to it, but the bitterness is mild and it tastes really rich and good. It’s really good with hot water as tea, or just by itself. I’m lazy sometimes so I just eat it straight from the packet, and it has the perfect amount of sweetness added to it to balance out the bitterness. We do feel a difference in our energy level when we take this product, so I recommend it. I think the product is really great, especially for this price point. Will purchase again!!

Taste is horrible and did not work...can not return

This is a good product. Took some getting use to the taste as I take it straight and do not add to anything. But I love the packaging and product

I went to my friend's house and tried it, and the taste and price were good, so I bought it, too. The packaging of the product is also luxurious, so it would be good for gifts!

I’m been buying ginseng from China for nearly 25 years and cooking it myself. As far as ginseng goes this taste terrible and not like most ginsengs. Why is that? Because it’s not just ginseng. There are 8 additional TCM herbs added and some of those you may not wish to take. Those herbs are listed on the back of the box. You are falsely led to think this is just ginseng. It is not. That’s why the flavor is wrong. The boxing is ridiculous. One would think one is buying jewelry or bars of gold. The box “might” be appropriate for the highest grade roots 7 years and older but not 6 year old plants. I won’t buy this again.

I have been buying another brand for the last 3 months and was very happy with it, for some reason I couldn’t get again because the system was down so I decided to buy something else with the same effect but it turned that the tase is horrible and the effect is not as effective and strong as the other brand I have been buying which effects last more that 3 days . Overall not happy at all with this product and worse case I can’t return it . So I don’t recommend
