Spode Blue Italian Covered Butter Dish (Blue, White), #REF!

This is very pretty. However it will not takes pack of butter. It is too narrow. It makes a lovely decorative piece.

Lovely butter fish but be warned quite narrow - cut your butter in half long ways and it fits — which is good as you can wash the butter dish between using the halves.

This is the prettiest butter dish i have ever seen. I would love to keep it as it matches my other Spode Blue Italian items. However, it is not suitable for me because our butter won't fit inside. I like a butter dish that will have some space around and above the butter. If they make that in a larger size, i would definitely buy. But for now, i have to return, as i like being able to use what i buy. I like nice things, but i do not buy things to sit on a display shelf. In all fairness, i have already received the refund for the return of this item.

Die Butterdose ist an sich ganz schön (die bildliche Darstellung wirkt allerdings etwas unscharf), aber am meisten überrascht hat mich das schmale und lange Maß…Die „klassiche“ Butter aus regulären Supermärkten in Deutschland passt nicht hinein. Man müsste die Butter entsprechend zurecht schneiden…Habe leider nicht auf die Maßangaben geachtet…

Burriera elegante e raffinata. Il classico intramontabile decoro "Blue Italian" di Spode è quello che ci vuole per una tavola in stile "British". Spode non delude mai.

I have the family old china set that is Lochs of Scotland Royal Warwick Blue and White and could not find a matching (missing) butter dish for anything. This one from Spode is a pretty close match.. unless you are looking too close..haha. Very good quality and style that Spode is known for. Very glad I gave this a try.
