Dogs love 'em!
I swithered about buying these as my dogs are all pretty picky, but they had enjoyed a well known brand's peanut butter treats so I decided to give these dental sticks a try. The most important factor, of course, is that the dogs ALL love them. Other factors are: they smell quite strongly, though not unpleasant just musky. They feel a little bit odd to handle when first out of the packet - sort of oily, but without being at all greasy is the best I can come up with. They certainly don't mark furnishings at all, and if one gets "lost" - i.e., someone buried theirs then forgot where they put it! - they become very dry and hard, but this doesn't appear to affect their palatability. The only thing I'd warn other potential purchasers about is that you should be careful how much you give. A whole stick is fine with my Chinese Crested, but more than a half a stick gives my teeny-tiny Chi x Jack Russell the trots. So start with a half, maybe. Each stick has many ridges, so they really will be good at loosening plaque, and they can be either bent or cut with really solid scissors to make them smaller. However either way, you do require to have strength in your hands; if you're very elderly or unwell or for any other reason are like me with weak grip, you'll find it a frustratingly long process and I strongly recommend shanghaiing a relative or friendly neighbour into service to get the job done without the air turning blue!

Perfect!
Both these for my dog as the ingredients are perfect for her, she absolutely loves them and helps her health etc, really good price for the correct ingredients I used to pay loads for safe treats for her, the size of them are perfect and they make her happy, only thing I have to say is they make her very thirsty

My girl's new favourite treat.
I love Pooch and Mutt products anyway, but hadn't tried these. My dog is not vegan like me but she does like dog safe peanut butter so when I came across these, I bought her a bag. She is OBSESSED. She's a foodie anyway, but only on occasion asks me for "more" of her treats. She ate this whole bag in two days (she is a giant breed so it's fine) and I've immediately ordered more and put them on my monthly orders because every time she walked past where the treats are she sat down which means "feed me." I then offer her 3 or 4 different bags of treats and she chooses what she would like by putting her paw on it, and EVERY time for two days she's chosen these. I was actually surprised because she's usually a meat fiend 😆 but these are a massive hit. Being Pooch and Mutt they don't have any silly unnecessary ingredients, yes they're more expensive than some treats and dental supplements but you get what you pay for. Surely any pet owner would be happy to pay a bit more to make sure their pet eats properly. They don't last too long with a giant breed and if I gave them to the smaller dogs I sometimes look after I'd cut them up as they wouldn't manage. They're chewy but not rock hard, quite squishy, and I don't worry about teeth when I feed these. Highly recommended.

Good for your Good Boy/Girl
Finally a dental chew that works for our boy! Our dog is a Whippet, so is already prone to dental issues so we put a lot of effort into keeping his teeth as healthy as possible, but he also has allergies on top of his allergies, so most other dental chews we have tried have set off his allergies. It's great that the ingredients are clear on the Pooch & Mutt chews as this really helped us to feel that these would probably be safe for him, and now we're 2 packs in we can confirm these do not have any itchy or squirty results for our lad. He loves them, and I think he gets a lot of enrichment from having something tasty to chew on as well as it being good for his teeth as he is visibly satisfied and relaxed when he's done chewing. Obviously dogs with allergies can have a range of different allergens that set them off, but for our boy who is allergic to certain meats and grains, these are working nicely and I can recommend them. The size is perfect for our Whippy boy, who takes about 5-10 minutes to get through one stick, and they'd probably be fine for breeds up to about Labrador size, a larger breed will still enjoy them but probably finish them off before they've had chance to benefit from the dental benefits.

Better suited for bigger dogs
These are actually really quite large, so suited to bigger dogs, our tiny dog is struggling to chew them
