Beautiful knives cut through steak like butter!
These knives are excellent! Very sharp (be careful)! Nicely balanced, good weight & look beautiful! Good value. Replaced a set of ginsu knives I had for many years after handles started deteriorating. New knives are much sharper & seem better made.

Great knives!
I love these knives. Nice quality weighted but not heavy feel. I was afraid handle was too small but it feels very nice in my hands and I’m a six foot man and my 5’ 3” wife says the same thing. I love the contrast of the black handles that are perfectly made, looking and feeling like one piece but contrasting the blade and handles. The 5 inch blade is the perfect length for steaks , which it slices right through, and for cutting vegetables. Blades are very sharp but not dangerously so, you can wash and dry them easily without the serrated edges cutting you or tearing up the cloths like other knives I had to return. I purchased knife sleeves that keep them protected well. Absolutely worth the price!

Nice sturdy steak knives
After using cheap, lightweight steak knives for years, I decided to get some decent ones. These are very attractive and have a nice “heft” to them. They are sharp and feel comfortable to use. They clean up well in the dishwasher and have not shown any rust spots. I am very pleased with them. I may even order another set .

Highly Recommended, Excellent Steak Knives!
These are really substantial knives that are sharp and aggresively serrated, making them perfect for cutting up meat on the dinner plate. Their price point is also excellent. I bought a set for myself six months ago and like them so much that I bought a second set just now as a gift for my son.

Great quality steak knives
I love these knives! My previous set of stainless steel steak knives had to be sharpened before every meal. They didn’t hold an edge. Theses Bellemain knives are designed to not need sharpening! They slice through meat like butter! They have a wider handle than my previous set and are much easier to control! Very well made knives!

They cut well, and straight, & Look good.
I liked these knives very much. Had them about a month, or so, and use them daily. They are the only knife I use now, while all others sit in the drawer. PROS: * Nice feel in the hand. No burrs, or cheap feeling materials. * Heavy enough to feel solid, but not so heavy to make the hand tired. * They are holding up in the dishwasher - daily. No water stains thus far, and no rust. * They cut through meat easily, and quickly. I don't see any shredded meat, just a clean cut. * They cut 'straight' through Avocados & Tomatoes. Who knew? I've never seen that with an angled blade like this before. Usually, the angle forces a curve in the cut on veggies, but these do a great job, every day at lunch. CONS: Price is pretty high. I know, some people love to say, you get what you pay for, but these are pretty pricey for 4 knives. They're nice, but not sure any steak knife is worth this much. That said, I will be buying a second set, if they hold up for another month or so. At this price, the first set was a test run. Once I'm sure they'll last, I'll go the extra $$ to get the other 4 knives. I'll grumble, but I'll pay it. I really do like them a lot, and I've been through a few cheaper sets in the last few years, always unhappily.

Good enough to nuke annoying figures-of-speech (e.g., "he's the dull blade in the steak-knife set")
I'm raising my rating after watching the less expensive knives (by Purelife), which I was originally favoring, move from $15 to $12 to $5, then up to $8 and, by this evening, back up to $12--all in the same day! Could Amazon be profiling individual users' budgets and adjusting prices accordingiy? Or are the prices tied to the futures markets in American-Chinese trading? Or perhaps to the volatile Trump market indexes? Whatever the case, PureLife's erratic pricing does little to enhance the appeal of the product, while these designer-label beauties from Bellemain now come into focus as a solid and stable knife set well worth the price. My advice to patient bargain-hunters: Keep an eye on the Purelife knives. Most likely they'll be back down to $5 (but as soon as they hit $6, click "Buy," just to be safe). I'm not big on eating meat, but my wife likes ultra rare steaks (and I'm always looking for another serrated blade to break down Amazon boxes). I almost ordered the similar set of four costing only twelve dollars, but then I saw these more attractive blades. I don't recall lifting a heavier steak-knife, yet it "feels" right and is well-balanced. Moreover, the prominent brand name engraved in the blade makes it seem like designer-label quality (though with Amazon's showing the place of origin as "China" (though thankfully not on the utensil itself), I'm no longer confident that I'm not paying for the "Trump tariff". My wife was not as impressed by the knife, claiming it lacked the precise control of a "really good" blade.. I notice that the non-serrated quarter-inch stretch at the tip does not have the sharp edge of a razor blade. But then rare steak doesn't yield as readily to any blade as does aged and well-cooked meat. And, speaking of "rare," how often does a product receive a perfect rating from a sizeable pool of Amazon reviewers? . I suspect that most of your guests will believe you when--should some officious guest pry--you suggest that a single Bellemain knife can not be purchased for less than three figures. (Who knows? One of these days you may be right.) And if the guest continues his badgering, simply point one of the knives at his forehead, then use two fingers to grab the blade while mentioning your difficulty in finding a new female assistant for your act at Caesar's.

Sharp, but not crazy-sharp 🔪
A quality set of steak knives, good balance with the handle and the serrated blades cut through meat nicely. I will say, many of the reviews here suggested the blades were scalpel-like sharp, to the point where you needed to handle these especially carefully to avoid cutting yourself. In fact, they are sharp, but not so crazy-sharp that you'd accidentally slice your fingers while washing them etc. I'll probably order an additional set soon.

Best steak knife we’ve ever owned. Purchased set of 6 then sets of 4 & 8 came available so we purchased the set of 4 to make 10. Probably more than we’ll need as we don’t entertain as much now but we’ll have them if we need them. Excellent serration on the blade makes for smooth cuts and don’t tear through meats. Well constructed, balanced and they look sharp. Definitely good value.
