These candies are EXCELLENT!!! They are like alien marshmallows. The consistency is amazing, not sticky but pillowy soft with density. The flavor is unique and not over sweet like most candies. I could not control myself and the bag is now gone within 24 hours despite trying to better pace myself (and my son) due to the high cost. (I have had these candies in my watch list for almost 2 years before finally splurging). If the price was more affordable I’d be in trouble because these are VERY addicting. (Took away one star because they are pricey but… so worth it! Especially since there is no unnecessary dairy added like most products nowadays) … actually, I’m adding the star back for the fact they are vegan! So.. 5 stars even with cost that means I cannot have everyday like I’d prefer. Highly recommend just sadly may not ever be able to enjoy again.

These are soft, moist, fresh and gently flavored, as good mochi should be. The smell reminds me slightly of Playdough. They each are individually wrapped in the bag. I like the taste, and it definitely is a product from Japan. The only caveat I'd have is: don't expect them to look like the photo, which shows quake mochi cubes. No, these look as if they went through an industrial ironing press. Flat as a pancake! However once you have one unwrapped, you can easily re-shape it into whatever shape you prefer your mochi to be. I don't know if they got smooshed in transport from Japan, or if the paper bag Amazon delivered in was the squasher, but just warning you!

So good! Not overly sweet. Love the soft texture and floral but fruity flavor.

Interesting if mild taste. Very soft. I enjoyed them but my sister did not.

Well worth it. I have wanted to try these for while and decided to finally splurge on a bag. I didn’t count how many pieces there were but it was a very large bag completely filled. I was only able to eat 2 pieces because they were really tiring to keep chewing. They are definitely chewier than any mochi I’ve ever had. I also found their sweetness level comparable to meringue candy so there’s no way to eat more than 2-3 pieces at a time unless you like very sweet candy. They didn't have much of a strong flavor, but there was a faint floral aftertaste. The outside powder covering has a sparkly glitter effect. I found them beautiful to eat. The only downside to these candies is the red 40 used to achieve the pretty pink color. That’s another reason I don't see myself reaching for these everyday….I avoid red 40 in my food most of the time. Price is reasonable for how much you get in a bag and how I wont be eating them everyday. These are probably healthier in the long term than actual candy since most people only eat 2-3 pieces with green tea.
