Great nail clippers.
Fantastic clippers. Super sharp and cuts through nails without much pressure. Only issue is that the rubber grips can sometimes slip a little but not enough of an issue to put me off.

Brilliant, Wish I'd bought them sooner.
Absolutely brilliant, best clippers I've ever used, look a bit flimsy and insubstantial compared to other clippers I've had but looks can be deceiving, their very strong and sharp, cut through my Husky's claws no problem with minimal to no noise which is great as other clippers made a loud snapping/clicking noise which would frighten him, easy to handle, don't feel awkward in the hand and the guard to stop you taking off too much is a lifesaver for someone cutting the claws of a dog who's not too keen on having his paws handled and therefore doesn't stay completely still, so all in all a very happy customer and pooch 😊

Millers forge dog clippers
Read good reviews for these so thought I'd give them a try. In fairness, they are good. I can cut tiny slithers off my dogs claws because theyre so sharp, they easily slice through. Only downside, I personally feel like their fragile,, they feel very flimsy and the handles are thin,, but time will tell, hopefully they'll hold up!!

Good with safety latch but not sturdy enough
Great at first with the safety latch giving you the confidence to cut the dogs nails without going too far down. Not the easiest to grip and after a couple of uses became quite flimsy

Great product ...
I have found the Millers Forge Nail Clipper to be excellent - quiet, precise and giving a clean cut. I bought these clippers to trim the nails of my 3 month Border Terrier. As this is my first dog I am a novice at trimming a dog's nails and so was and still am quite nervous when clipping!! I am following the 'often and little' approach to nail clipping in order to avoid cutting the quick and hurting him. I do not want to make him afraid of getting his nails clipped. My puppy has dark nails and so nearness to the quick is difficult to tell, other than by looking the cut area of the nail (I am following the information given in a Youtube video on cutting dark nails called 'Trimming Black and White Toenails in Dogs' ... it is cheesy at the end but the advice has worked well for me). Precision is important ... and these clippers are precise. I clip when my puppy is half asleep on my lap and the clippers are quiet so he does not really notice what I am doing. I do not use the guard as it would be pretty useless re the 'correct' depth but as it folds up out of the way it is not annoying or in the way. I like the catch that keeps the clippers closed when not in use. The span of the handles is feels nice and the clippers would be ok for small or large hands.

Poor quality
Guard is too loose to be of any use. Tried to return but says not eligible for return

Life changing
It’s not very often I write reviews but if anyone like me was worrying over their dogs nails then these clippers are life changing,I have whippets and a saluki x greyhound,as other sighthound owners will know their nails grow at a rapid rate compared to other breeds and no amount of roadwork keeps them down, one of my whippets is extremely anxious of life in general and trying to do his nails has had me in tears, the noise of other clippers terrified them,I’d manage to cut one nail then I couldn’t get near to do anymore,I even purchased a dremel and it was £40 down the drain as with it being so noisy it was worse then the clippers,I resigned myself to having to pay £15 at the groomers every 4-5 weeks, during lockdown I was literally loosing sleep as I was worried they would cause themselves an injury while running around with long nails, the millers forge are the best clippers I have ever used, unlike other makes they are completely silent when you cut,it’s easy to see precisely where the blade will cut unlike other brands that you have to guess at the cut line,I’ve managed for the first time in years to trim all my 3 boys without any fuss, the guard helps with my saluki as his nails are all black and very thick, the clippers are tiny and font look robust at all but they are so easy to hold and cut like a hot knife through butter, they come with a lifetime guarantee do that says a lot, couldn’t be more pleased for me and my boys

My dog hates getting his nails clipped by me. Almost every nail clipper that I've gotten have pinched his nail slightly crushing before cutting through cleanly. Even ones marketed as high grade professional nail clippers have done this. I think the crushing is due to the fact that he has very soft nails With these cllippers, I think I can actually get my dog to be comfortable or at least less fussy about getting his nails clipped! I found tons of recommendations for the Millers forge brand of clippers, and even the vet and groomer recommended them. First, let me say that these required almost no effort to clip my dogs nails. I was able to get my dogs nails clipped in 15 minutes, which is the fastest I've ever been able to do this. He didn't once cry out in pain as if I were killing him, nor did he retract his paw as hard as he could from my grasp. I didn't have to do a sharp and quick cut to get these to close, as I have done with many other brands. Instead these just glided right through the nail, and were incredibly precise so that I was able to clip in small sections. It was almost like shaving off his nail just a little bit. Because the clippers clipped of his nail so cleanly I was able to see that the discarded nail anatomy - hard shell and a fleshy inside. The fleshy inside of his nail just crumbles when it falls out of the hard shell, and so I think this is why previous nail clippers were crushing his nail. Speaking from a physics perspective, I can see these clippers lasting quite a long time and remaining sharp. The design on the blade of the clipper is angled sharply into a thin blade (and it is a very sharp blade). The blades make no noise as they are closed and opened, though I can feel the blades brush against one another. The spring that opens the clippers also makes no noise, and I believe this is because they use a volute spring which I'm also not afraid of getting pinched by. The only issue with the clippers is that the red comfort grip covers slide off while I clip. This isn't a big deal though as they don't slide off much and it didn't make a difference in how the clippers performed. For people who are wondering if these are real Millers Forge Inc clippers, they are. Only the larger Miller's Forge nail clippers are made in Italy (specifically the 727C and 767C styled for larger dogs). I would only recommend these for medium to small dogs. All other Miller's forge nail clippers are made in other places -such as Japan and Taiwan. These 743C clipers are made in Taiwan, and do come with the Miller's Forge lifetime guarantee against manufacturing or worksmanship defects unless abused or left to rust (as stated on the back of the packaging).

Best clippers I've used. These clippers are very lightweight but so sharp. My other set of clippers bought from a pet shop made a crunching sound when cutting and left the nail rough and splintered. These clippers cut easily and are so sharp and pricise, leaving the nail cut perfectly. I can easily cut my puppies nails weekly now with no complaints from him.
