Seems like a great quality bag
Update: the plastic holding the shoulder strap on broke the very first time I tried to put any kind of real weight in this bag. Normally I would have just returned the bag, but it really is very good quality aside from that one design flaw. So I took some pliers, cut off the plastic hook on the strap and the one on the bag, then put a metal d-link through both loops on each side. It was a snug fit, but it worked and I haven't had any issues since. (Keep in mind that when I go to the gym, I've got about 30 lb worth of stuff in my bag.) But it holds up very well with these hooks! The laundry pocket is big enough for me to shove a pair of hiking boots in...which is what I wear at the gym because they keep me from walking on the sides of my feet. Below are the d-links I purchased. They have other colors too, but I wanted them to match my bag as much as possible. There are cheaper options, of course, but I chose these both because of the high weight rating they have and the fact that they're autolocking. For my snow blue duffel by this company, I replaced the plastic hooks with the autolocking blue ones right off the bat, since that was the closest color option for my liking. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B4F919PC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Original review: I purchased this 80 L duffel for the gym after the main pocket on my old one ripped. I wanted a bigger bag that had a decent compartment for shoes, two outer pockets AND a shoulder strap. This fit the bill. Plus it came in purple, which was a bonus. :) The first thing I noticed after opening the packaging was how the duffel was compressed down. The entire thing zips up into a square that's roughly 8x8 or so. However, the sheer size of the duffel as I unzipped it astounded me! Not only did I have room for everything I bring to the gym, I could fit all of my dad's AND brother's stuff in there if I wanted to! (I would have only purchased the 60 L one if I had realized just how big this bad boy was.) The two pockets are on the front instead of the sides - which is nice - and they're decently deep to boot. So is the compartment for shoes/laundry. The padded shoulder strap is of good quality as well. The only problem I can foresee in the future is how it hooks to the bag itself; both the clasps and the catches on the sides are plastic. However, the straps they're hooked to are wide enough where if they break, I can just purchase a d-link from a hardware store to hook them together instead. (For anyone who likes everything to match, I've seen colored ones on occasion at a certain store in the USA with an orange sign and the initials 'HD'.) I've had to use those before for duffels and they work very well. :) https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B4F919PC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Overall, I am very pleased with this bag. I expect it to last a long time. I'll update my review if something changes. Until then, I highly recommend purchasing this duffel. Hope this review was helpful!

Too much weight in your suitcase?-- Gotcha Covered!
I purchased this packable duffel for Christmas shopping this month since I knew I wanted to keep the toys I purchased in the boxes for gift wrapping and protected in my hardshell suitcase. In saying all of that, I used this duffel bag for overflow of the few outfits that I packed for the 3 day trip. After packing my hardshell suitcase, I threw in my shoes and my clothing items in the main compartment and it was not entirely full since it was still able to be squished into the overhead bin on the plane. I think that if it was stuffed to the max, I wouldn't have been able to get away with it fitting in the overhead bin. It wasn't too heavy considering it wasn't full to the max as well. On receiving the package, it was perfectly wrapped in plastic wrap and the perfect size to throw in your luggage when you aren't sure if you need that "in case" bag. I think this bag would also be good for a weekend road trip or a local hotel stay. I purchased the black color as I didn't know how the other colors would hold up stain wise. With all that being said, I didn't end up checking the bag since the zippers looked fragile and because of the way it folds up into each other, the zippers kind of dangle at the bottom and I was worried that baggage handling at the airport may make one of the zippers break off. So do keep that in mind that I don't think this would do well being checked in, unless you intend to throw it away once reaching your destination. All in all, it did the job for me and my luggage was not overweight and it wasn't a hassle to carry since it only was packed with clothing and not really heavy items. I do think it could get heavy if you were packing much heavier items, so bear that in mind.

Folds compactly
They sent the wrong color. I now have a sad black bag instead of a fun purple bag. I needed to use it for a flight so I didn’t have time to return it. The bag itself folds up very compactly. It’s very light weight, but seems sturdy. It worked well for one use.

Perfect dimensions for international baggage!
TLDR: I'm happily ordering a second one! I was looking for a lightweight duffle bag to maximize space for a long-term work assignment. As soon as it arrived, I took out the old yard ruler and luggage scale. After stuffing the bag with three bulky pillows, it measured nearly 30" x 20" x 12" (the max. allowed for international baggage) and weighs just 1.4lbs with the strap still attached. The interior is roomy, with an inside pocket. There are also a few outside pockets as well. All zipperable. The material is thin and stitched together with single stitching, so don't expect heavy canvas and super durable construction. If you're going to cram as much stuff as possible into the bag and then toss it around a lot, you're asking for trouble. That said, it would be very easy to repair any rips with just a needle and thread by hand. Since I'm not using this to haul heavy items around on a daily basis, I'm not too concerned about long-term durability. I've read reviews about the plastic strap fittings breaking, and I could see how that might happen with rigorous use. On the flip side, the strap itself seems quite sturdy and comes with a cushy shoulder pad. If the plastic bits ever break, it would be easily fixed with a carabiner or something. From what I can tell so far, this is the perfect bag for my move. The dimensions are perfect for air travel, and the lightweight construction is perfectly adequate for my purposes. If any of that changes, I'll update this review, but at this stage, I'm ready to order a second one to complete my luggage needs. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These are great for traveling, washable and perfect for those who have suffered from mold toxcity
I have to say I was impressed with these. I was on a very strict budget and had to go to Dallas for hyperbaric treatment. We had to toss all our luggage after toxic mold exposure so we had 0 to even pack with. The star was going to be 5 nights/6 days so needed something of good size that was cheap. These seem to the bill. They come in and it’s in this neat little pkg. I’m like ok. This is tiny. I start unzipping and the thing is massive! I literally could get half of my body inside the bag standing up with room to spare. Haha I packed 5 days worth and with Texas weather, you never know if your to need shorts, capris, pants or sweats. One first few days it was in the 30s. Next couple of days highs of 80 followed by s cold front that blew in. So yeah, we needed basically spring, summer and winter clothes which makes it a pain and lots of packing. I packed extra and still had lots of room. I ordered the 80 L fyi. It has a side pocket for shoes which is very large. It will take up space on the inside of the bag. On the front, it has large pockets and one small pocket on the inside of the bag. It is very light when you don't have if things inside the bag. I actually ordered 2; 1 for me and one for hubs. We probably could have got away with just (1)80 L bag but it’s better to have extra room than not enough imo. Ones if The best benefits is when your done with these, they zip up to a small space savings bag so easy for storing. Unlike bulky luggage that takes up s ton of spacE. Of course, these would be better with wheels but then you don’t have the benefit of the small storage later. You can always grab a cart to roll them into hotel rooms though. They are washable! That beats the heck out of luggage yet again. Plus, the first hotel we started in had lots of mold. This was actually a concern when booking the hotel as I had heard from other mold toxcity patients about having issues with most hotels. I wasn’t sure I believed it until it halted to us. So what made be sick is mycotoxins from mold that you can’t see or smell. Well this can contaminate your items. This is why my first luggage has to be tossed. Seeing we stayed in a Moldy hotel, they are being ran through the washer unlike luggage. I actually wasn’t happy I couldn’t afford luggage with wheels until this happened. Definitely a blessing in disguise. I’m so happy I could just toss in washer. I also thought about this afterwards. How disgusting luggage is. It is thrown on floors, in bar of cars, airports, dirty clothes back into bags, dirty shoes in the bag. That’s actually really disgusting if you think about it. Ok, so for the MCS people. The plastic bags they came in, they did have this awful smell. I took out of plastic bag and only a tiny smell almost not noticeable on the bag itself. W me and family are all chemical sensitive because of the toxic mold exposure and it didn’t bother us. I know most won’t be concerned about this but I know the super sensitive will appreciate this info. As far as looks, I ordered the pink and hubs wanted the blue with marked gray. The pink looks exactly like pic. Nice and vibrant. The marbled blue is meh to me but hubs liked it so all that matters. It looked like pic as well. The reg colors is slicker than the marbled colors. So yes, highly recommend. My only complaint is yes I still want wheels lol. Next time, as long as we aren’t flying, we will take our rollable wagon. We were going to use the carts at the hotel until we saw they had obviously been left outside and there was mold in the wood bottom. We lugged it to the car instead.

Great bag - highly recommended
The wife and I booked a sailing vacation to the Caribbean. We were told to bring soft-sided luggage and pack light. So we bought two of these (one in black, one in pink, of course). They were stuffed to the brim, of course. In mine, I was able to get a set of scuba fins, a scuba BCD, scuba regulators, a mask, and 7 days/nights worth of clothes. This stuffed it completely full. Then we were able to carry it onto the plane because of its size. Honestly, we figured because of the light material and relatively inexpensive cost (no one GAVE us a unit to review) - that even if these were throw-aways when we got home, we'd be ahead of the game. Not only did these hold up the entire trip, through 7 different taxi rides, 4 different water taxis, etc. But we actually checked one of the bags on the way home because of the weight of the bag and not wanting to drag it around the airport. We figured that for sure would have killed it. Nope - it came out with plenty of black marks and stains (having checked the pink one), but not one rip or tear. All the seams and zippers are in place! We went white water rafting the weekend after we returned from that trip, and were able to make use of the size pocket, still having our dry clothes in the main compartment and putting our wet close in the size compartment, separated from everything else. Great bag - highly recommended. The shoulder straps are not the most comfortable, but it's by design - you couldn't put a pad there and still have these bags fold up into such a compact size. We wouldn't change a thing.

Pretty great duffel, but inside lining sloughs off with use.
I bought this bag to carry my scuba gear. I couldn't really tell from the photos if the material was going to be strong enough to stand up to being used for a gear bag but so far, so good- for the most part (more on this in a minute...). I pack a pretty full compliment of scuba gear in this bag every morning, and it gets chucked on the boat and soaked with salt water for much of the morning, only to be stuffed full of gear again for the trip back to the shop in the early afternoon. I am good about washing it in fresh water and hanging it to dry overnight, but it definitely takes more of a beating than it would from the average user. I haven't weighed my gear but I estimate that it weighs about 25 - 30 lbs. After about 2 weeks of constant use the bag DID rip, on the end right beneath where the carry strap attaches (above the pocket on the end). I repaired the rip and stopped using the long, adjustable carry straps, and now I just carry it by the two handles, which are big enough so that I can still hang it from my shoulder. This seems to have worked and I'm over-all very pleased with the bag. I kind-of expected it to last a little more than a couple weeks before it ripped but I am sure I am using it for more than it was designed for so... as long as it doesn't rip again I feel like it is more than satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this duffel for light - medium use. It would be great for carrying lighter-weight sports gear, or to chuck in your bag when you go on vacation to pack your purchases in. You can fit a LOT in this bag! I will try to remember to take some photos with my scuba gear in the bag so people can get an idea of how much space there is... Update: ok so I used the bag pretty consistently for about 6 months and I'm not sure if it was the salt water or just normal wear and tear but the inside lining started sloughing off, which is really messy and annoying. I ended up buying a bag from walmart to use for my dive gear instead.
