Ryobi R18GLU-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Glue Gun (Battery & Charger Excluded)

I have a few Ryobi cordless tool now, and have been very happy with them all, This Hot glue gun is excellent like the rest off the Ryobi tools. It takes about 3 minutes to heat up, Once you start using it and put it back down with no drips, I put a square off paper towel on the work bench just in case. Well worth a look as there are hundreds of things this will help you with.

I'va had my eye on one of these for a while now, and the Prime October deal made it very easy for me. I use a hot melt glue gun reasonable frequently , and I get fed up of the mains power ones falling over, or the stand or the cable gets in the way, etc. etc. This heats up in about 3 minutes, and does the job precisely and easily. The heavier base means it doesnt fall over, and can be put down easily. I use the 4ah battery, and this seems fime. I seldom use more than 1 stick in a session, so don't see battery life being an issue for me. All in all, very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent glue gun not the cheapest but delighted

This is great heats up really quickly and is very handy for fixing things outside of the house.

Works well, and the ergonomics are good. Having a battery operated glue gun is a real joy for doing DIY. No more messing about with long extension cables. I have knocked 1 star off because it should heat faster than it does.

I bought this as “ handy to have “ bit of kit. Because it is battery it is great out on site, around the home etc, it is suprising is how frequent one uses it because its battery and! all the things you can use hot glue for, sealing up electronic circuits to waterproof, sealing plastic CV boots, it’s only limit is the limit of the glue itself, ideally a 4AH battery would be best for long term use of a day the smaller batteries only last about an hour depending on how long you leave it switched on for, I switch it off in between use as it stays hot for about 5 mins so switching it on and off throughout use stopes excessive dripping and saves battery. Pros: Extremely versatile, no need for extention leads, quickly becomes a “ I should have bought one of these ages ago” item Cons: battery life on smaller batteries (1.3A) is about 30 min to an hour unless you switch it on and off. Drips constantly when sat switched on All in all a fabulous, handy bit if kit

So, like most of the ryobi one+ range this really only makes any sense if you already have other tools with batteries, but if you do this a great glue gun. Have a few kids and between us lots of hobbies and activities where a glue gun is a great addition it has always been a regular used tool in our household. Moving to cordless just makes it so much easier to pull out and use anywhere, anytime. It heats up fast and as a bonus of the battery it stands up straight. It drips less than our older ones but still need to pull glues stick back a tiny bit to stop it. We used with a 1.5 AH battery to make a knights costume for a school day working on and off for about 4 hours before the battery went dead so I was happy with that.

Like all the Ryobi ONE+ tools I have so far this is a superb piece of kit. It takes about 3 minutes to heat up but then does everything you would want/expect of a hot glue gun - but without the inconvenience of a cable. Used it to fit LED lighting under my kitchen cupboards, having got hopelessly tangled trying to do the job with my cabled glue gun. The job was fast and easy and the gun performed flawlessly. Have since used it in the garden (no annoying extension leads to mess with) and for various craft jobs/repair projects. Can't really see myself going back to using a cabled hot glue gun.

Ryobi Heißklebepistole funktioniert kabellos. Mit einem 2,0 AH Akku sehr gut überall hizukommen. Mit 5, AH klobiger. Dafür sehr viele Klebestellen. Top.
