I’m reading other people’s photo uploads and think some people may have clicked on the wrong one to buy, possibly, that theirs says “not for human consummation.” My bottle says clearly Food Grade front and back. It Deb worried too if it didn’t. (I don’t know enough about glycerine/glycerol itself.) I was searching for non-palm oil as well. The Amazon page says that. It is sweet, but not bad tasting. I’ve been adding it to my coffee. If added to every frozen Ninja Creami I’ve tried so far, adding a pump or two of this AFTER your ingredients are frozen (I added a syrup pump to my bottle for less mess) makes my frozen pint come out like thick dense whipped cream. It makes it sooooo creamy, wow. However! Whatever portions are refrozen, this glycerin makes that pint crystalized icy. It’s more scoopable, but very icy. I think it’s best if you want to consume that portion soon. Or thaw the little bit that was re-frozen and mix it up, but it’s a tad icy still. Adding a food grade pump is a great idea I thought of as it looked like it would be a sticky mess in no time. The coffee syrup pumps will clog over time, so I know I’ll need to wash it occasionally. Very hot water does the trick. I also had to cut the straw part shorter to fit the bottle (with industrial scissors).
