First of all the cookies are delicious BUT they arrived smashed. This might not be such a big deal if they were not in gift tins, supposedly heart shaped cookies. I bought 2 tins as valentine gifts. As per the picture the cookies are no longer heart shaped. The packing box was NOT damaged, the cookies were not so lucky. I contacted Amazon, they do not return food but put me in contact with Nyakers through Amazon's Vendor System. The 1st response from Nyakers paraphrased was that cookies sent in tins will break. Basically not a big deal. I responded to Nyakers that by their response they are obviously aware of the problem and allowing smashed cookies to be sold to customes, especially in a giftable holiday presentation was not acceptable. Then I ask for a full refund. Next response from Nyakers was they would pass on my concern about allowing cookies to arrive smashed and no offer of any thing to fix the problem. Buyer beware.

I found out about these cookies though a tik tok account I follow called Dollicious. So the creator has autoimmune issues and can’t eat many foods, and her friend gifted her these cookies. Since she couldn’t eat them she decided to give them to her dog moonrise little pieces at a time and during her lives she calls it “puppy cookie time” and moonrise is absolutely obsessed with these cookies! Naturally, after some time, I had no other choice but to check these cookies out for myself. BEST COOKIE PURCHASE EVER! Me and my kids destroyed the first tin and we are now waiting for the second tin to arrive! They are delicious, the texture is perfect and the right amount of spice. For anyone complaining about the fact that they are all broken is just crazy. The cookie is amazing! who cares about the shape! Just because it’s no longer heart shaped doesn’t mean the taste or texture changed because I assure you it didn’t and it’s still delicious! So the cookies were all broken. I bought these for myself and gifts. Some opened there gift early and once they told me it was a lot of crumbs and pieces i opened mine. They were right. So everyone got broken cookies. A couple wouldn't be bad. But the whole can was basically broken. They need the heart papers to place them in. Then put in canister. Taste was fine. But excessive crumbs

pros: delicious, thin, crisp pepparkakor suitable for making pie crusts or sprinkling on ice cream. cons: out of 13 servings at 8 cookies per serving or about 104 cookies, only 14 are not broken. The broken cookies are not just missing the heart point, they are quite pulverized. If you are making a cookie platter, these would not work.

Fresh tasting, Light sugar, great ginger flavor, great tea cookie and light refreshment for lunch or guest get together.

Arrived broken in pieces/crumbs. The taste was good. Unable to serve as cookies, only crumby topping on ice cream, if one chose. Amazon issued a refund. Still had to shop for ginger snaps as a gift.

All but five of the cookies were broken. OK, we all break cookies when we eat them, but I want to break them myself! And, not have them broken upon arrival. Years ago, there was a “broken cookie factory” in Oklahoma; but their cookies were all 50 to 80% discounted when the cookies were broken. Perhaps reprice these cookies at a lower price or find a way to produce them so they are whole when they arrive.

Delicious! Nyakers cookies are like the kind (pepparkakor) my Swedish mother made. Her's was an interesting recipe using golden sugar syrup and the dough is made in a pot on the stove. Then it sits overnight in a dough ball in the fridge. As a kid, I would take a knife and slice off pieces of the dough to eat, it was so delicious! Nyakers is the only company that I have tried whose cookies are basically identical to my mother's old family recipe. They are wonderful! Some people may complain of broken cookies, but it's important to be realistic - these are imported from Sweden and they are classically thin cookies. Yes, there may be some broken cookies, but the bits are just as delicious! I much prefer these to any that are made in the States.

Prodotto consegnato nei tempi previsti. Tuttavia voglio segnalare che i biscotti all'interno dei contenitori di latta, erano per la metà in frantumi. Presumo non tanto per il maneggio indelicato da parte del trasportatore ma per la mancanza di una protezione interna del contenitore e questa è una protezione che il produttore deve prendere se vuole vendere su mercati esterni alla Svezia.

Ich habe dieses Gebäck im vergangenen Jahr aus Schweden mitgebracht bekommen. Das Gebäck ist genau so lecker. Es waren auch ein paar Kekse zerbrochen, aber das hat nichts am Geschmack geändert. Der Bruch kommt zu Stande, weil das Gebäck in der Dose Etwas Bewegungsfreiheit hat. Trotzdem würde ich es wieder kaufen.

Schmeckt gut und ich als Schwede ist damit aufgewachsen!
