I bought this when our Miele hob died and the cost to replace it, as they couldn’t diagnose what was wrong, was crazy. It is an induction hob so all my pans work and it heats up quickly. There are 9 different heat settings but I haven’t needed to go higher than 5. It can be quite fierce so needs an eye kept to watch the temperature which is easily altered and responds instantly. The only drawback is that it is a single plate so you can’t cook two things at the same time. It doesn’t really bother us as we have 2 air fryers which we can use if needed. We bought this as a stop gap three months ago but it works so well we haven’t done anything about a replacement hob. It’s very good value and we love it. In fact we may buy a two plate version and not replace the fitted hob at all!

We recently had our gas boiler removed and replaced with an Air Source Heat Pump so it seemed pointless paying a gas standing charge for just our cooker rings (ovens are electrical) and our gas fire which we don’t use anyway. I needed a way to cook things that we used to use the gas rings for, this is to tied us over until we have a new kitchen in a years time. It’s brilliant, easy to use and fortunately our pans were induction compatible. It’s got a lot of power and I’ve found level 3 is the most used but it goes to level 6. Nice big base size too and the plus is we can take this camping with us as we have an inverter in our van. Electric hook up. It’s already paid for itself in the 2 months since we had the gas capped off and removed by our supplier.

This little hob cooks things incredibly quickly and with no fuss. Be careful, as it will boil over very quickly if not watched. The lowest setting 1 is still quite strong. As it uses a stop start system to adjust heat it is not very good with sauces for example. Otherwise great. The noise is no big deal. You are cooking!

At under £40, I am pleased with my recent purchase. It is noisy but the fan noise of an induction is an acceptable trade for the fast cooking. Only used a few times so far, but so far pleased with the high heat it achieves fast and with the low settings for slow cooking. Heat settings 1 to 9. Some experimenting is needed to find the right temperatures setting. Found high settings not always necessary as its powerful. Maximum button makes high heat access when cooking, fast but there is no minimum heat button, so need several button presses to go down through the settings to get to the lowest heat from a high heat. Comparison to a previous induction: There is no quick minimum setting button and I am missing using that quick turn down option. My previous induction had a sloped control console, protecting it from the pan area but this one is flat. So I now have to be careful to place pots and pans away from the controls that are in front of the heating area, to avoid damage. This also restricts the size of pots that can be used to make sure they do not overlap the console. Despite these comparisons for below £40 this was a good purchase. Above this price, I would probably be looking for a minimum button for ease of use.

This is easy to clean, heats up fast and cools down fast. It is a little noisy, but for the price I think it's an excellent product so very good value for money.

I quite like this hob, works really well and pretty compact, a little noisy but OK. Purchased in May 2024 and yesterday when I switched on its plug socket, the house lights dimmed slightly, and the hob didn't power up? The socket works for other stuff OK and this hob doesn't power up on any other socket, the fuse in the plug is OK so it must be the hob itself. The description on Amazon states a 12 month warranty, although I can't find any option to make a claim or even contact the seller?? So only 3 stars!

Awful - has ruined every saucepan we own.

This portable induction hob is very reasonably priced and for that reason exceeded my expectations. It cooks well, is incredibly fast at heating up pans and offers about 10 different heating settings. Our primary use for this induction hob is Chinese hot pots - so boiling a large pot of water to continuously cook food in rather than frying with oil. I read reviews that suggested the heating settings are not appropriate for this - but actually it has exceeded my expectations against other reviews and does a decent job of hot pots. It's true that the heating settings are not analogue like a gas hob, in which you can choose specifically the temperature you want and leave it at that through the size of the flame. Instead, this hob will provide the selected temperature by pulse heating - so will provide a short burst of high power and then switch off for a few seconds to try and maintain temperature, before another burst of power. For our hot pot dinners, this has actually worked very well and the different settings do enable you to maintain a boil or to slow down to a near consistent simmer. The hob is super easy to clean as it's a flat surface top, easy to move and is pretty lightweight. Overall, it's proven great for a cheaper solution from a less known brand. Recommended.

To maintain low temperature, the hob turns on and off intermittently. This ends up burning the food, for example I was unable to cook garlic or onion; it always burns. Maybe with thicker cookware it works better, but for me it's useless. Also very noisy and cooking area is very small, only the middle of the pan is heated. If none of this bothers you, it works and you can achieve high temperatures very quickly. I returned it.

Estoy renovando mi cocina y hay obras importantes, así que compré este aparato para cocinar hasta que se instale la nueva. El aparato es más grande que el Cecotec que también compré, pero aun así encaja perfectamente en la encimera y es muy potente. Cabe fácilmente una sartén grande y el tiempo de cocción es corto. Perfecto para ollas y sartenes grandes cuando se cocina para la familia. Algunos usuarios han comentado que el aparato no aplica calor constante, sino que se enciende y se apaga. Todas las placas de inducción lo hacen y no hay problema, solo hay que vigilar lo que se está cocinando para asegurarse de que no se queme. He cocinado huevos, arroz, pasta y cebolla sin ningún problema. Este aparato tiene un potente ventilador para mantenerlo frío. Es un poco ruidoso, pero no demasiado, y durante el uso descubrí que, a menudo, el ruido del ventilador indicaba que tenía la temperatura demasiado alta. Con unos pequeños ajustes, todo funciona correctamente. Muy contento con la compra.
