it arrived quickly and had each of the stains it advertises. thus far have only tried one but it worked great and taste of the end product was of such a greater quality then others i have tried

The yeast packets all arrived in new condition with dates indicating they are newer stock so I will definitely be inclined to order again. As to the viability of the yeast, I've only used the k1v-1116 so far, but I can attest that I had no problem using it in 2 of my project wines. As a newer homebrewer in a region with no winemaking stores, it is hard to get a variety of yeast for an economical price, and since different projects work better with different yeast, this is a perfect option. Having made good wine up to 16% in the past with bread yeast, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as differences go aside from nuance to flavor or flocculation(sediment compactness), but the k1v-1116 I received actually made me consider a blowoff tube due to its high activity. There is definitely a difference. This variety included some that lalvin identifies as good for ciders, good for champagne and fruit wines, mead, ale, and some overlap in between - one variety pack is enough for anyone to dabble for about $0.50 per brew if you use a half packet or less.

Im pretty new to making mead, so I like that this gives me quite a few types of yeast to try with multiples of each. Same size packets I would be spending $4-$7 on at the store.

Several packs were the newer packaging and all packs have dates that are many, many months or years away. Really good way to try several different yeasts for your batches. Highly recommended!
