This is NOT for kids. . The parts are very detailed and small. If you have clumsy hands, this kit will prove to be challenging. . The parts are very detailed and are relatively easy to remove. They are well engraved with lots of details by laser and they separate very well. However, you want to have an X-Acti knife handy to remove thinner/smaller parts to prevent breakage when trying to remove and separate the parts. . I would say that this kit takes about 10 hours to assemble working at a leisurely pace. . Instructions are relatively easy to understand follow. Assembly is not-too-difficult. The most challenging part with assembly was attaching the fishing lines and knotting them. . Fully assembled, the unit is very entertaining and worthy of attention. It’s more than a toy. Think of this as a desk accessory or mantle piece. . Only thing I would have liked is if this cost a little bit less. Instead of $50, I would want to pay $50 or less. But given the quality, build, and entertainment associated with building this kit, I am not complaining.

I have all 3 in this set and I absolutely love them. They were challenging to assemble but very satisfying to work on. They all went together nicely, they are delicate and some pieces are tiny and difficult to work with. Well worth the money spent. I’ve tried a few other puzzle brands but the brand is by far the best.

I really enjoy the Rolife/Robolife/Rokr line and have completed many of their products. This is my second mechanical build, and overall, I’m pretty happy with it. The design is clever, and it works smoothly without any hiccups. That said, I did run into some difficulty with the umbrellas. They didn’t end up aligning perfectly. I double-checked the instructions several times but still couldn’t get them positioned just right. They do move up and down freely, though, and it’s still a very cute finished piece. In terms of build, it took me about six hours to complete, so I was able to finish it in a single day. The price felt a little high for this particular model, but the overall experience was still enjoyable. One word of caution: be careful when removing and inserting the pieces, as some are delicate and prone to breaking if not handled gently.

I have built many Rokr kits but still had some difficulty bending the curved pieces without breaking them. I finally discovered that soaking them in hot water helps a lot. (Probably better yet would Be to steam them but I haven't tried that). Aside from this perennial problem and a speaker that didn't work, I loved building this kit. It is not for beginners but if you are experienced and patient, the result is great fun. One of the nice things about Rokr is their good customer service. While it took a couple of weeks to get a new speaker because it is shipped from China they did come through. They have even replace wood parts on previous kits that I broke. In summary, a great kit for experienced builders.

Great project love the parachutes pretty easy to build works great

If you, a friend, relative or any child you know loves to build and create, these ROKR 3D puzzles are remarkable. They are fun to put together and they are fun to play with once you are done. These are not just throwaway puzzles for kids. The builder has to pay very close attention to instructions and details but the sweat and effort are well worth it as the final result is a brilliant parachute tower that brings back fond memories of the boardwalks and Coney Island. Probably best for kids over the age of 12. Intricate to build so choose wisely if purchasing for a child.

Well designed effort with some very tiny parts. The cables hiding the baskets require tweezers to knot & instant glue is a plus’s when distance is in place. Number on part location must be observed. Works well.

I took it very slow and was extremely careful when assembling this. The strings that hold the parachutes are really thin so tying knots was not easy but I managed it. Some pieces are super delicate but somehow I managed to put this together without breaking any or needing glue. One of the best ones I've built (and I've built a lot).

I completed this with a little difficulty. When I went to play it, everything worked smoothly, and I am extremely pleased with it. Not all ROKR items come so easy!
