Fabulous!
These reusable pods work great!! My husband was really happy with them and made a nice foam as well. We used to order pods for our nespresso from caffe Vergnano but price went to $140 for 200 capsules. These are fabulous and makes a good cup of espresso. Not sure why a reusable top cannot be made to work as the sticker does BUT I’m not complaining. I noticed bad reviews for others that had a reusable top so that’s why I gave this a try and so happy I did. Will be ordering a second set of 6!

Surprising quality
I found these reusable pods to be very good and really easy to use. They seal well and work good in my portable Pixapresso espresso machine. The stand with rubber inserts is a nice touch. I do not use the stand but I do use the rubber inserts, shown in the picture. I also purchased the storage containers from Amazon and they hold 5 pods each with the rubber inserts for a very secure and convenient way for storage and travel. I can also fit a few disposable pods in each one as well..

Consistently stellar espresso!
I rarely write reviews but I felt very inclined to do so for this product. I’ve now made ~10 shots over the course of 3 weeks of having these. I have a D’Longhi Mini Essenza Nespresso machine, and it fits these capsules like a glove, a very tight glove. That’s a good thing, because a loose fitting capsule will cause water leakage into your espresso cup and dilute your drink (and experience). I weigh 5 grams of finely ground dark roast (seriously, I just buy pre ground espresso that Trader Joe’s sells, rainforest packaging) in the capsule and use the included “tamper” to compress the grounds. It’s a little bit messy of a process but I’ll take cleaning up since the end result is phenomenal. I use filtered water ONLY in my Nespresso machine and overall, it works like a charm. Lovely aroma (better than store bought pods) and perfect amount of cream too. Resist the urge to fully fill and pack the capsule, as some space is needed for the water when the foil lid is penetrated. I’ve made these the night before and even after sitting sealed by the foil for 8 hours, they still taste fresh in the morning. Each shot is very consistent and up to the caliber and quality of Nespresso brand pods. I took a chance after reading some mixed reviews, but boy am I glad I got these. I am now so excited to experiment with pre-ground espresso from different roasters, since the standard Trader Joe’s brand espresso tastes so good. This saves so much money over buying one time use pods, and the taste is phenomenal! Fantastic value!!!

Good Performance but Watch Out for Missing Rings
These reusable capsules work well, are easy to load and seal, and function fine with my Nespresso machine. However, after just a few months of light use, I noticed that two silicone rings went missing — not sure how that happened. Unfortunately, a replacement pack of 10 rings cost me $9, which makes the value less appealing.

Game-Changer! Better coffee, lower cost.
When the price of our favorite locally sourced coffee became prohibitive (we understand, but $20/bag was too much!!!), we started using the Nespresso machine temporarily. But even the Ristretto pods from Trader Joe's aren't cheap. In addition, they are not (yet) recyclable, nor are they organic or free trade. A deep dive into Amazon yielded this little set, and that has made all the difference! Now we can buy Free Trade espresso (yes, from TJ's), and load the pods ourselves. It takes a few tries to get the onboarding just right, but after that, it's a cinch. And the flavor of the coffee is sooooo much better than purchased pods, of ANY brand! Here are a few things I've learned so far: 1. Buy extra lids. You'll waste a few in the learning process. 😉 2. If you make more than one or two pods a day (we're a 4-pod household), you might want two sets (12 total), just so you can maximize pre-filling sessions. 3. Pack coffee in firmly, but don't try to make a brickin there. The coffee needs a little space for the water to pass through to get a nice, rich cup with full foam. 4. Leave a bit of space between the grounds and the lid. Not a huge gap, but this space also helps in creating better coffee and foam. 5. Make sure the lids are sealed around the full rim of the pod. (It's really easy to do.) 6. You will need to de-stickify the rims from time to time, as the adhesive sometimes leaves residue. GooGone (or an orange peel) works great. 7. If you rinse the used lids and wad them up, they're recyclable. The used coffee is great for plants or the compost, if either is an option. 8. Enjoy! You're gonna be amazed out what a great cup of deliciousness your little machine can make with these pods. Hope this helps!

Does not work with ninja espresso coffee barista machine
My husband and I just bought a new ninja espresso and coffee barista machine, super fancy and totally trying to reign in on our coffee game and save some money so we stop going to Starbucks religiously. So we bought these fillable pods to try and use our own grinder and espresso roast and we tried it out the first day. We went through 4 different pods that we filled, followed the instructions and we kept getting an error on our machine saying “ready to brew, add water”. We checked the tank, it was full. We tried to adjust the pods and rebrew. Tried to use different pods. Every single time we had this error and couldn’t figure out why. After a few hours and many Google attempts, we get our last delivery of original nespresso shaped pods from a different company already filled (the throw away ones) and we get the prefect brew of espresso instantly. To debunk this again, we used one more refillable pot and got the error again. The foils are too thick and won’t pierce correctly. My guess is just don’t fill the pods per the instructions and do less but who wants less espresso? lol so I just returned them and am going to just buy the tossable pods. Maybe I’ll revisit them down the road when I’m more inclined - maybe it’s totally user error idk but I don’t have the patience I just want my coffee lol

Good in theory, but high maintenance
I really wanted to love these reusable Nespresso pods—great for sustainability and saving money—but there’s a steep learning curve, and the cleaning process is a hassle. The biggest issue is the residue from the lids, which sticks to the pod and requires peeling off the film and extra scrubbing to fully remove. Refilling takes some trial and error to get the right amount and tamping pressure for a decent brew. They do work once you get the hang of them, and I’ll keep using them, but be prepared for some extra effort. If you’re looking for a quick and easy swap from disposable pods, these might not be the best option.

Great refillable for original Nespresso pods
I had previously tried plastic refillable Nespresso pods, but this one really works! Obviously, you won't get the super thick Nespresso crema, but using fresh beans ground fine and not over tampering it, you get a pretty decent cup. Tip: Fill the pod, level, then use the half spoon looking thing and press down to tamper. The indention is just perfect and the resulting cup is very good. The tray is great for storage and the adhesive covers make for a solid pod. I am glad I made this purchase.
