Good heat press, changing different parts not so easy.

I’m shocked at the good price and yet this thing is a beast. Works great. Temp control so easy to set up and use. Looks great and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Pressure is perfect

UPDATE - Sept 29, 2022: TOPDEEP reached out to me immediately and offered to replace the control box if I was willing to give their product another chance. The new box arrived 3 days later and it works perfectly! I have never seen or used a heat press and this was super easy to use, even with my arthritic hands. Figuring out how to set the temp and time was incredibly easy as well. I would definitely recommend this item if you were on a budget (aren't we all these days?). The included shirt is a very thin, almost see-through material. Ladies would need to wear something under it, but it was the perfect test shirt. I'll be using it to test in the future if needed. Original Review: I turned it on to make a shirt and as soon as I flipped the switch I heard a pop, saw a spark and little puff of smoke come out the bottom of the control box, and then all lights went out. I immediately turned it off and unplugged the machine. My roommate plugged it back in and tried to turn it on later. Absolutely nothing happened. It is dead. I will be contacting the seller and returning it. Will try to update as this is handled.

We've been communicating with this seller now via email since they were requesting videos of operation that could not be sent through Amazon. The press itself is much lighter and there are design improvements over previous models. However the press and controller combination is very erratic. Temps swing wildly and we had to add an additional mat to get enough pressure. There has now been no reply to the following email text in 48 hours. The press is now outside the return window... We’ve been going through a series of tests using your press and controller. We’ve been using similar presses for years and currently have 4 still in operation. This purchase was to replace a press and controller that simple became too old and problematic. The temperatures and times are based on sublimation blanks supplier recommendation. This press was primarily put into service to do coasters (MDF and sandstone) and porcelain flat ornaments. Our temperatures are not set too high based on previous printing. In doing tests we have discovered adding an additional mat has improved the pressure enough and the items are printing much better. We now have found that your supplied controller causes a serious change in operation on your press as well as other presses. In printing on a flat press the temperature still quickly drops by 60°F and in recovery overshoots by 40°F!! On a mug press (yours and another) it also quickly drops by 60°F but does not return to set temperature in the 180 second time and the resulting printing is slightly lighter (another controller doesn’t drop as much and quickly recovers). Either your controller is not displaying the actual temperature or it cannot properly control the temperature. Perhaps it is the new design of the controller that is causing the problems compared to the previous controllers? But it could also be a defect in this one. Using our 2 similar controllers on your new press doesn’t do anything to help with our production - if that’s the case we didn’t need to buy your press. I believe that the only way to settle this is to send us a replacement controller - that would allow us to compare the two in operation.

Awesome, machine I end up giving it to my daughter and she has made so money off of this machine by designing shirts, cups, stickers etc!
