Neutrogena Acne Proofing Daily Facial Gel Cleanser with Salicylic Acid Acne Medicine, Oil-Free Acne-Fighting Face Wash, 6 oz

I love this face treatment and gel cleanser.I use it with my Clarisonic Mia 2; it’s a nice thick gel so only one pump is enough. I foams up really nicely (I feel if it doesn’t foam, it’s not soap - call me crazy!) and it has a soft clean fresh scent.The combo of the Mia and this treatment l / cleanser has been a godsend for my broken-out acne skin, however, I’m sure any cleansing method would benefit from using it.Honestly, it’s the only cleaner I use right now because it cuts out a second step of a treatment because you’re “applying it” as you’re cleaning.I’ve heard if you rinse with cold water it closes the pores, so I’ve been doing that to rise off. Who knows if that’s true or not...All I know is my skin is smooth, I have far FAR less breakouts, I’m on the same bottle from January 2018 (4 mo ago) and I’m very happy!

I was having trouble finding it - it not only works but smells SO good. It's a wonderful experience washing your face with it and knowing you are helping your skin. I LOVE IT.

I have used this face wash for a while & when I stopped using it I noticed acne come back - so I immediately bought it again. Would definitely recommend.

I saw an article recommending this product for people with blackheads and issues with acne. For that reason, I went to Amazon and purchased it. I like it so far but I do notice it dries out my skin a great amount. So I try to use plenty of moisturizers afterward. The moisturizer I used is also by Neutrogena. I'd say if you have sensitive skin to use very very small pumps of this or to use a normal pump but dilute it with some water. So far, I am waiting to see improvements with my blackheads. They are not as bad as when I purchased the product but I've also been doing a number of things to help clear them. I hope this review helps. This product seems like it is going to last a while which I appreciate. Side Note: My skin is only a little bit sensitive. I refrain from using this product every day to prevent from drying out my skin even more. I tend to use Cetaphil every day I don't use this product or just a splash of water.

This is the best face cleanser I have found for my skin I have used it for years and now Neutrogena has discontinued it I’m devastated. Luckily it’s still on here but I don’t know for how long this is the only face wash that works for me. I’ve tried hundreds of different kinds over the years high end brand including this. Is it please Neutrogena bring it back.

Really good for getting rid of acne. Does have a stronger smell compared to some of the other neutrogena products but I do not mind as I enjoy the smell. However do not get this in your eyes or wash around your eyes with this. I tried to take my makeup off with this and it kinda burning my eyes. I'm guessing its due to the acne fighting ingredients, which really do work

I bought this wash last year to replace the daily acne scrub of the same brand I was using (the scrub was more expensive than this wash plus I was curious). At first, it seemed to work out, and of course I know every acne wash is supposed to break you out and then clear up what is there. Hence no more acne but this was a straight uphill battle for my face! It ended up breaking me out all the time and I would go clear and then right back to break out. And it also marked my skin. Like once any acne actually cleared up, there was usually a dark mark left behind. So now I have to find something to get rid of my dark spots lol. I also noticed the drying of my skin...but no redness after washing. Unfortunately this is a no for me...it might work for someone else though but it just didn't for me. \_'-'_/

I can't believe I finally found something that works! I use this once a day along with the Neutrogena On The Spot acne Treatment tube and together they have finally made me acne free. I'm 35 so this is a big deal to me because I'm SICK of having pimples at this age . I will absolutely keep buying these two products !
