I've had this rope for almost a month now, when I opened it I was a little skeptical, it didn't look any sturdier than other dog ropes. Boy was I wrong. I have a very persistent chewer, who also plays tug with people and another dog, and this rope has held up very well. Usually a rope of this size would have been in pieces within the day, no longer than a week. There is fraying to it now but not gotten all the way through, no nasty odours yet like many dogs toys get after a few days of play, I'm confident it would handle a wash well too when the time comes. He will most definitely get through it in the next month or so, but for the price and the replacement guarantee it's definitely worth it

They are good toys for dogs . But my BT just loves destroying them but has fun while doing it open Xmas day gave him one a day just bits left now but not all dogs like mine. So good value for what they are meant for 😁🦮

As its very tough and heavy rope its not suitable for small dogs or dogs with soft mouths

My border collie loves chasing and tugging ropes, but she's not really a chewer. Despite some of the reviews, I went with this rope because it looked quite big and robust in the pictures. When it arrived, I was confused at some of the not so great reviews - some stated this was more suited to the small dog - I'm not sure where they were looking because it's huge - it's longer than my dog! My honest opinion is this would by far suit dogs up to large breeds - it's very heavy and tightly wound (watch your legs while it's being thrashed about!!) . Despite having this for a couple of weeks, and playing with it none stop with it, there is no damage including any fraying or rips in the material. Safe to say, the pooch is well chuffed!
