I sense this will last me a lifetime. I am a decent amateur athlete with a cardio background. As a 50+ year old and at 76kg, have moved into strength based / calisthenics and want to improve my hand / wrist / forearm strength. Been using a few times a week whilst working at my desk and it is certainly helping. Still only on 104lb for full closing (goes to 176lb) so years of gains ahead. Love it. Great health investment.

Beautifully made and very effective. Comes in a nice presentation box. The hardest level is tough enough for me. This is a real quality item.

not sure you need anything stronger than this, no one I know can do the top level several grip positions & multi level settings

Fantastically well manufactured from high quality materials. Handles are nicely knurled but perhaps some optional comfort sleeving would be useful.

Amazing build quality and well engineered. Very heavy and feels solid in hand. I can see this lasting 10 years or more. Definitely worth getting.

Nice grip strengthener solid even though it tears your skin but that doesn’t bother me.✊ good to release stress🤞🏻

Habe immer mal wieder Plastikversionen einer Fingerhantel genutzt wo mittels Schraube die Federspannung eingstellt wurde und irgendwie waren die nie besonderst langlebig. Jetzt bin ich auf die Iron.80 gestoßen und ich bin begeistert. Sie hat ein angenehmes Gewicht - auch wenn des sicher eine rein subjektive Empfindung ist. Die Einstullungsmöglichkeiten sind vollkommen ausreichend. Die Funktion die Hantel enger zu stellen ist toll aber mit meinen großen Händen brauche ich das nicht wirklich. Außerdem kann man noch die Grifflänge verändern mittels 2er Inbusschrauben. So bekommt man nochmal einen etwas längeren Hebel was es etwas einfacher macht. Jeder versucht natürlich auch gleich die 80kg zu drücken aber bis auf ein kleines bisschen schaffe ich es noch nicht. Aber sie lässt sich so schnell verstellen, dass man auch gerne mal Leute verars.. kann. Schnell mal gedrückt und dann auf 80 gestellt und zu sehen wie sie dran hängen :-) Was mich nach knapp einer Woche Benutzung stört ist, dass sie ganz leicht anfängt zu quitschen. Aber erstmal abwarten und eventuell mit WD40 behandeln. Aber wenn das schlimmer werden sollte dann müsste ich die 5 Sterne nochmal anpassen.

Magnífico fortalecedor de agarre con seis niveles de resistencia. Verdaderamente complicado cerrarlo por completo a partir del 4º nivel. Fantástico para entrenar la fuerza de los antebrazos y complementar el trabajo con resistencias 2-3 días por semana. Ojo con pasarse, que luego en el gym los antebrazos lo notan mucho. Sobre todo si vas a hacer espalda o bíceps y el día de antes has estado dándole. 100% recomendable.

Si vous avez deja acheté des hand grips fabriqué principalement en plastique, vous savez que cela ne dure jamais. J'ai ce hand grip depuis bientôt 2 mois, je l'utilise quotidiennement et il ne montre aucun signe d'usure. La conception est intéligente et favorise la durabilité tout en permettant des configurations plus poussées que sur les hand grips classiques. Je recommande fortement d'acheter les protections (coussinets) si vous voulez préserver vos mains. Je trouve cela dommage que cela ne soit pas directement comprit dans l'achat : on parle de morceaux de plastiques qui ne coutent rien a produire et qui apporte un confort énorme lors de l'utilisation du produit.

Very nice quality, hefty piece. The width between the handles can be easily adjusted. It is a nice piece to look at and feels great in hand. The knurled handles so hurt a bit at first, but after 2 days or so you'll be used to it. Pretty high price though. But it's made to last.

Das ist nicht meine erste Fingerhantel, aber vermutlich meine letzte? Zunächst die Verarbeitung: Das Teil sieht schon direkt gut aus, wenn man es auspackt. Alles ist aus Stahl, kein Plastik. Es wirkt massiv und ist auch entsprechend schwer. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass hier jemals was kaputt gehen wird. Der Verstellmechanismus ist zwar nicht stufenlos, dafür aber genial einfach,schnell und wirkt sehr robust. Krafttechnisch ist zu sagen: ich habe bisher eine starre 40kg Fingerhantel, und diese hier ist bei 36kg schon schwerer, also da ist deutlich noch Luft, bis ich die 80kg erreiche, die diese Version hier bietet. Die Grifflänge ist für normal große Männerhände komplett ausreichend. Das einzige "Manko" ist die Griffstruktur, die sehr rauhe Riffelung der Griffe drückt schon ordentlich ins Fleisch, entweder polstert man die Hand etwas (Fitness-Handschuhe u.ä.) oder man muss mit Schwielen und Hornhaut rechnen. Über 40kg wird es echt schmerzhaft.
