Nice and bright lights for my christmas tree, i am very pleased.

UPDATED: I previously left a review (below) expressing some frustration with the second set I bought. To my surprise, Maggie sent me 3 new sets of lights! All of these sets had the same new quality that the first set I bought had. I love them and thank you to Maggie for checking in on reviews and sending me new ones! I recommend buying these lights, and if there’s any problems, their customer service will take care of you. —— I first ordered these about a month ago. They are really great lights that are warm/white. They’re not insanely bright but also not too yellowy. Then I ordered a second set. When they arrived, they looked a bit dirty and the three wires that are twirled together had all unraveled. I made the mistake of not plugging in before hanging them up, and later realized that only about half the lights worked. Because of the presentation of the wires, I was afraid there was internal damage so I exchanged for a new set. This was extremely easy to do and the new set arrived very quickly. While I’m happy that all the lights work on this next set, the wires are still all unraveled and it just doesn’t look as new or in the same condition as the first set I bought.

So far so good. All the lights work. Test them prior to putting on the tree. I wish the lights were a little brighter. They were easy to put on my 6ft tree. For a 6ft tree, I recommend 400 lights and to start at the bottom.

I bought these to use daily in my classroom and got a total of four strands. I hung them up in August and by December, some of the bulbs started burning out which I wasn’t too upset about because I use them daily. Now it’s April and MANY of the bulbs have burnt out so I bought standard replacement bulbs that don’t fit. These take a special type of bulb that I have been unable to find on Amazon or anywhere else on the internet. So I contacted Amazon to see if they could message Prextex and let me know how to get replacement bulbs that fit these. Amazon said the order was placed months ago and so they could not message the seller which was so frustrating to me. That doesn’t make sense. So I went to the Prextex website and emailed them. The email address is shut down and undeliverable. So I called their phone number. It’s disconnected. It’s like the company doesn’t even exist. Now I am having to throw away these lights that I spent money on and replace them with ones that take a normal bulb. I wish I had never bought these.

I bought these because the bottom half of my tree didn’t light and I didn’t want to throw my tree out. Beautiful colours. I’m going to buy another set, just in case
