This first of all was a blind buy, and I can honestly say its a lovely scent. Starts off with tangerines, lemon citrus, but quickly you get cinnamon and cloves,frankinsence and even a faint nutmeg scent. Longevity on skin 4 hours, not massive projection, although I have had complimentary remarks. Longevity on clothing longer. I own 100+ fragrances niche down, but at this time of year, and at this price compared to harrods or selfridges much higher, I think you can't go wrong.. Age late 30's upwards I'd recommend.

High-End product

This is an excellent woody, smoky, piny(?) scent, very much as described. It reminds me a little of Marc Jacobs for men, combined with the inexpensive woodspice stuff from Marks and Spencers, or something my Dad might have used in the 70s, but better. This isn't faint praise - it's evocative and wearable, without being overbearing. Recommended.

Fabulous depth, kicking off with a crisp wood resin note that works down to a comfortably masculine base of fresh cut pine timber. But there's a marine layer too that gives this potentially classic fragrance a clean, natural and coastal feel, as if it were the essence of a sawmill on the coast. There's tobacco and tonka bean in there too, the description mentions patchouli and it's in there but its well under control. I like this a lot.

What I love about this is that it reminds me of an era when mens fragrance - smelt like a men's fragrance! Earthy, Woody, leathery and of tobacco leaves. I get from this Tobacco, wood, resin, smokey musk, pepper and oriental spice. Add to that a herby mix of greens; grass, sage and pine. It's a distinctively male scent, for a strong character, and I can see this being enjoyed with a glass of good red wine in front of a roaring fireplace. It's a memory in a bottle..

Preso per mio marito che usava la versione da uomo (che non ho trovato). Purtroppo questa versione unisex non ha la stessa fragranza della versione uomo. Gli assomiglia solamente. Peccato. Spero di ritrovare un futuro la versione uomo.

It smells nice; I give the scent a 7/10, the longevity a 2/10, and the projection a 2/10. Pretty much YOU will be the only one that smells it upon application.
