I purchased this little guy because Father Benedict Groeschel also had a little hippo figurine on his desk to remind him that God's creatures come in all shapes and sizes, some pretty, others not so much. It's VERY cute, and it does have a hint of camphor aroma from the wood used to make it.

Super cute house hippo! The only issue I have is that it smells of a strong scent of essential oils or something. Kind of smells like tiger balm. I hope the scent disappears soon.
