Great gi. Somewhat canvas like material the gives a fantastic snapping sound. Plus, gi gives one physical structure because of the material. I have purchased 2 so far. Down side are ironing gi is work and must spend additional funds on alteration. Let me say in conclusion, “ When I wear this gi I think I look great”

I really like this gi. I was using a standard dojo Gi that was 50/50 cotton/polyester. I spoke to Doug before calling. I’m 5’8” almost 230lbs. I’m very broad on top and I needed a size 6, like my Dojo Gi I was previously using. When this Gi came in, it was HUUUGE!!! I was super nervous about it. I read some reviews to shrink it before tailoring it. I washed it in hot water and dried it on High heat a total of 3 times and it shrunk. The top was basically the same size as my gi size 6. I went to my local tailor and she did a fantastic job shortening the sleeves and pants to the length I wanted (Basically Okinawan style). I used it in class today for the first time. It was great! Everyone kept saying I would be hot in such a thick Gi. Nope. It felt cool and airy. Like the sleeves are stiff enough to let air in to my chest and the sweat seemed to be cool feeling. My old gi would be hot and stick to my skin when drenched. I highly recommend this gi.

Amazing material and quality of stitching. Very quick delivery. I am 6 2 and size 6 was enormous. Size 5 would have suited me well. Pl add size chart for this product.
