Unfortunately, the battery turned out to be faulty. It works fine until it reaches around 22–23%, then the charge suddenly drops to under 10% without warning. This makes it unreliable for travel or work. Very disappointing.

A high-quality replacement battery. This Egoway lithium-ion polymer A2519 battery comes sturdily boxed and the battery itself is wrapped in an anti-static bag - good packaging. Installation tools and instructions are also included.As with all MacBook batteries, the installation process is a bit more involved (and fiddly) than replacing batteries in other brands of laptop. It's not a difficult job, though - just a little more time consuming than it need be (designed that way by Apple, who clearly don't want customers replacing batteries). The included instructions are pretty decent - they feature pictures as well as words. It's always best to watch some online tutorial videos as well, before you embark on replacing any laptop battery for the first time (this applies no matter what model of battery/laptop you're working with). That way you know in detail exactly what the job entails. That boosts confidence in people opening a particular laptop for the first time.I recommend wearing an anti-static wristband whenever working inside any computer, even if just to replace a battery. These wristbands are cheap and they'll prevent you from inadvertently frying electrical components with static from your skin.The Egoway A2519 is performing well straight out of the box. The true test of any laptop battery isn't so much how well it performs when brand new, but how well it maintains that performance over time. This particular battery is brand new, though, so I don't yet have any long-term data regarding its performance. For now it's impressive, outperforming the generic battery that comes as standard in a MacBook 14 Inch Pro model A2442 (late 2021 year).No criticisms. If there's any significant decline in the battery's performance, I'll amend this review to reflect that.

My MacBook 2021 model needed a repair and while it was being done I decided to give the battery a refresh too as it was going to be dismantled anyway. This is by far one of the cheaper options on the market not to mention offering a decent amount of warranty and reassurance. If you have a little knowledge then you can get It installed in under ten minutes, with the right tools. This ships with the pentalobe and Torx screwdrivers, but I suggest getting a proper electronic screwdriver set as they are not the best quality.It fits perfectly and gets recognised and charged right away. The capacity isn’t as good as the original battery that came with the computer for sure, but what do you expect at this price? I just wanted a safe battery that works well enough and this thing is that. We've had it going for several weeks now and there's been no sign of battery capacity loss from when I first got it, but it’s still early days.If this is the first time you are attempting this, patience is key. There are a lot of great videos out there on how to properly remove it without causing damage. There are basic instructions provided but I would recommend watching a tutorial video online. All in all, this is a cost-effective solution to breathing new life into your MacBook.Highly recommend.

This is my 2nd Egoway battery to review this week and I’ve had a few different ones previously and have not had any issues them to date. Included in the box is everything you need to replace your existing battery. I say everything, that is unless you have any glue residue from the old battery that you may want to clean off before putting the new one in.Although it is recommended that you get a professional to do this for you, it is not that difficult to do. Especially since you have pictorial instructions included with the battery and there are plenty of videos of YouTube showing you how. If you have a tablet or phone, then you can have one of those playing while you’re doing it. You can then pause & rewind if needed.It’s really a matter of taking the bottom of the laptop off, removing any screws, disconnecting the battery and then the tricky part, prizing the old battery out. Since it is glued in place. Once you’ve done that, you pretty much do everything in reverse. I would suggest having one of those anti-static wrist bands on, so as to avoid damaging anything circuitry inside.Once it is in, turn you laptop on and just allow the battery to drain down to 0%, with things like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. turned off. Basically don’t use it. Then fully charge it and you’re good to go.Hopefully this will give your MacBook a new lease of life and at a lower cost than purchasing an Apple branded one.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Very good product, used it on a MacBook,The original battery fits in nicely,, this one however didn't feel like it was a snug fit.I managed to get it to work eventually, wasn't easy though.Overall, product worked and I am pleased with it so far.If anything changes I will get back and update my review.So far so good.Thanks
