Highly recommended, nice and light to wear, ideal reading glasses, pretty sturdy and don't slip or slide down nose, particularly like them as they don't dent the bridge of your nose. Would definitely recommend these. Only downfall is you don't get any cleaning cloth or cases to store other than a glasses bag but I'd prefer a case so to throw in drawer and not get damaged etc, overall tho they're a really good buy.

I have bought the cheaper glasses deal of 5 pairs a couple of times before. They are ok but I found the lens scratched very easy and the frames a little more flimsy. These are sturdier, I found the lens quality clearer and having the tinted pair are great for outdoor reading. I will buy again and as for the little extra I feel they will last longer and the lens are of a higher quality.

I cant remember when I first started to need glasses for reading, but probably ten to twenty years ago. They have now become absolutely essential for work and leisure. I spend most of the day every day wearing these glasses. In the past I would buy ready made glasses from the usual places, like Boots and M&S. But they would always break after a very short time. I assumed that it was because I just couldnt look after them properly, and reading glasses were just fragile. I even started buying a dozen at a time from Poundland, because they were going to break anyway, so I may as well buy the cheapest I could get. I would have been happy to pay a lot of money for a pair that I knew would last. When I bought these glasses they seemed to be reasonably priced at £18 for five pairs. I hadnt really expected them to last any time, as that was just how it is with off the shelf reading glasses I thought. But I have had them almost a year now, using three different pairs dotted around the house. Amazingly, none have shown any sign of wear or breaking at all. As for performance and aesthetics - they seem to do the job just fine, and they look pretty smart. So if the time ever comes, I will certainly buy again.

Great product took away for 3 months and proved very sturdy really good for reading on the beach

I've been getting through around 6 pairs of reading glasses spectacles over each of the last few years, bought from various high street stores at prices ranging from £1 to £5 each. They have been failing when one arm detaches when the connection joint to the rims breaks. (That is probably partly due to both my lack of care and because I tend to prop them on my head when not in use, which could stretch the arms outwards, which is not helped by them being of relatively narrow width versus my average medium sized head) Anyhow, these 'Eyekepper' Reading Glasses (spring loaded arms allowing for giving outward 'stretch') seem, so far, to be likely to last much longer. Vision (magnification and clarity) is good and the style is suitably 'plain' for my taste, with them being a tool. not a fashion accessory! :-) Neither 'cheap' (made down to a price) or expensive (when I bought a 5-pack of they worked out at around £5 each), for me they, so far, provide great value for money and I'm very happy. The inclusion of the cloth storage/cleaning (?) bags was an unexpected and very welcome bonus! Thoroughly recommended and I may buy more as an investment if/when they are offered again on a 'deal' :-)

The frames etc are very good quality and the lenses appear good quality too, but the focal distance is well over the range I would expect from reading glasses - much more in line with 'distance' glasses. If I had arms that were six foot long they would be perfect, but I haven't! I bought them because my full strength reading glasses (2.5) were uncomfortable for working on the computer since I bought a new (larger) monitor. I thought a lower prescription would help - I have an 'old' prescription pair of 1.25 that bridge the gap quite effectively - but not in this case. Had they been 'readers' as described I would have given them five stars as the frames and styles are great, but I now have five pairs of TV 'glasses' that I don't really need and am still getting tired and sore eyes at the computer!

Fairly sturdy, vision is clear. Had them for a couple of months now, still going strong and enough in the pack to ensure I'm never lost for some reading specs. Good value.
