Good optics, high powered, very big and heavy.
Good optics. Good magnification. Good for astronomy. Can be used for bird watching in the garden but will not focus on objects closer than 20 meters. They are huge and quite heavy and hence not suited to carrying on a country walk.

a stunning piece of Kit
Far better than i thought , but sadly when i put the tripod adaptor screwed in . When Finished the Adaptor just would not turn to come out , bear in mind this point i am 82 years old . BUT into Binoculars for 67 years , and Bought 34 over that time . So definitely a Fanatic , meaning i could never have such a simple thing beat me . So something must have jammed , and of course afraid to be tough as did not want to damage either . Back to the Glasses , and yes far better than i expected . As my last Celestron was a 20 X 80 , to big for me to hold and it had a Colimnation problem ( i wonder are you baffled now ) So the one coming back was far far better . Now they say every Cloud has a silver lining , so if nothing had jammed i guess i would have kept them and been very happy . But because they were so damn good , ( Money no problem ) so after a few more hours of study . So i found the next one up about £100 more , looks exactly the same but the standard lenses inside the Pro yes are good . But if i go up to the Pro ED , ( and just in case you are not up to the terminology ) ED means extra low dispersion glass . now with the standard glass and you are looking at the moon then you will see a very thin blueish light around the edge ( which of course is not supposed to be there ) Now when go up to the ED quality lens ( the problem i mentioned called Colour Fringing is practically gone ) . now for all those years gone by , my biggest fear has been Colimnation . Which is very bad as you are seeing two different pictures instead of one perfect picture , sadly it is very expensive to fix . it is doable yourself but you need nerves and skill , done it once but i did not like it as so delicate a touch . Joe public doesn’t know this but each lens Barrel has two tiny screws that are hidden between the leather and the Body , or under the rubber cover of the Rainproof ones . which means then you have to buy a specialist adhesive to fix blue them back . But when you have re colimnated them , you then feel brill as you have saved the Binocs . And if not done then it can cause very bad headaches , as your eyes are fighting to make the picture right. One good thing over the years things have got better , and the dearer the Binocs less chance of it happening . and as dearer they are checked to a higher level . And back to the ones i sent back , i would call them damn good value for money . And whoever buys one and they are new at the Game , they will be very happy . I am a bit harder to please as i know to much , but i could recommend them to anyone . I would give them a 9/10 . hope this helps . Ken Picton .

Very Sharp View
A bit on the heavier side and luckily I had a tripod for extended lunar viewing. Think about it, some say a refractor offers superb lunar views, but these binoculars are just as good but you get to use both eyes. Stars focus to a pin point source and the contrast is better than my SCT

Good product
Works great for bird watching, not as heavy as it looks but quite big in size. I can coment on sky watching

Powerful and good value binocs.
Great value pair of powerful binoculars. Realistically they need to be mounted on a substantial tripod stand. Image quality is very good for this price point. We use for wildlife watching and occasionally looking at the night sky.

Terrible QC and image quality.
Ordered 2 pairs of these both returned. Completely out of focus/collimation, ridiculous amounts of abberation during the day. Poor quality control and packaging not suitable for protecting factory collimation.

Great Binoculars.
I bought these as a gift for my husband who has a telescope but it is rather bulky. These are a great spec and are large. He says that a tripod is useful when using them. He may need other accessories to locate stars, etc but is waiting until he has got used to them before deciding. Absolutely superb item.
