SHINSAKURA Sushi Rice 1 Kg Vacuum Packed

I bought this rice specifically for making sushi at home, and the quality exceeded my expectations. The grains are perfectly short and plump, and once cooked, the rice has the ideal sticky texture required for sushi without becoming mushy. It absorbs seasoning (rice vinegar, sugar, salt) very well and holds its shape nicely while rolling. I also tried it for rice bowls, and it tasted soft, slightly sweet, and premium. Cooking instructions were easy to follow, and the consistency was excellent every time. Pros: • Authentic short-grain texture • Perfect stickiness for sushi • Clean, premium taste Cons: • Slightly expensive compared to regular rice, but worth it Highly recommended for anyone making sushi or Japanese-style dishes at home

Really good quality and makes for great texture. Pairs wonderfully with oriental flavours. If cooked in vegetable stock, it absorbs the flavours well and takes a dish to another level.

quality is ok. not much flavour but super sticky. no aroma. way overpriced.
