Scent and Value, are absolutely stunning. Don't waste time just buy it. The rich depth of lather requires very little cream on the brush. Take your time with hot water. No disapointment. Great to see in an age of inflation some who has NOT watered down the quality of their product.

Bought this product for my Dad back in 2016, he was 77 at the time and had always shaved with soap and brush. As we were in London shopping for Christmas presents we came across Taylor’s of Bond Street. I went into the shop and asked in-depth about their products. I bought my Dad a new brush and this shaving cream. You can actually teach an old dog new tricks because he uses this daily and he gets it for birthdays, Christmas, Father’s Day and whenever he runs out. He has actually turned 2 of his brothers into Taylor of Bond Street users. This product is top notch. It’s reasonably priced, smells divine and lasts a long time. The sandalwood is my Dad’s favourite. I would highly recommend this product.

I am a person with sensitive skin, but this shaving cream has not given me any problems for the 3 or 4 years I've been using it. I haven't used any other brands or varieties of shaving cream, as I previously always used an electric shaver. The smell doesn't seem to be too strong, but then again it's hard to smell my own face after shaving. I would recommend buying the pack of two tubs instead of just buying one single tub. When buying two, it's shipped nice and tight in branded box which importantly keeps the contents secure. On more than one occasion of buying single tubs, the lid has become loosened in transit and results in a slightly messy experience opening the tub. I have also received a cracked tub when purchasing the single type. All in all, happy.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. I've bought this product for him previously, along with other brands. He liked ALL the brands I bought him, but this particular one, though it was the most expensive, was the one he really raved about. This size would last him a few months, and the scent (which is really lovely, & very masculine) does not diminish over that time. It is pleasant to use, & doesn't irritate the skin at all. I bought 2 this time, as he likes it so much. As to using it for travelling....well it depends how much room you have in your luggage. In the past my husband has always taken a shaving stick, as they take up little space, but if you have room, this might be OK to take.

I like that old fashioned experience and help give a great shave. Be aware the soap is very soft and it's easy to apply too much soap the the shaving brush. Just apply sparingly. I'll buy it again.

(Repeat review, but more detailed). I wish I had 'discovered' this 50+yrs ago. No doubt the smoothest shave ever, even though 4 days growth, even using an 'oldish' blade it facilitates a glide as if the blade was new. Retains moisture throughout the time it takes to shave. For any new wet shave 'comers':- Damp the beard with a little water from the brush. Swirl a little on the brush, not much is needed, it is very 'creamy'. Gently 'swirl' into the growth. 'Sweep' with the razor, no pressure is needed, no 'staggering', just a smooth action. When finished, dab any remaining cream, no need to rinse. Because little 'action' is required there's no hint of razor burn, or maybe there is lanoline in the cream? The skin is so smooth after with a gentle aroma of Sandlewood.

Pour me raser depuis de nombreuses années j'utilise ces produits que j'avais découvert dans leur magnifique boutique à Londres. La senteur santal est celle sue je préfère et j'utilise leur après rasage de la même odeur. Par surcroit, ils ont des présentations en tube, faciles à utiliser en voyage.

Ein Freund hatte sich vor zwei Jahren von Tobs eine 75 ml Tube Sandelwood Rasiercreme gekauft und gab mir eine Probe davon, und diese sah nicht schneeweiß aus, wie die, die ich mit dieser Bestellung bekommen habe. Die Farbe ging eher ins latent gelbe und der Geruch war viel intensiver, was mir persönlich sehr gefallen hat. Es ist schon der typische Sandelholz Geruch vorhanden, aber eben schwächer. Die RC erinnert so eher an Mr. Taylor von Tobs, die ich zwar auch mag, aber ich wollte halt diesmal wieder diesen schweren oldschool Duft haben und wurde leider enttäuscht.

La vengo usando desde hace dos años y me va genial, además del amplio margen de tiempo que me dura, usandola a diario como yo la uso.
