The best sunscreen I’ve ever used. We go on long haul holidays all the time so always in 30 + degrees. I started getting prickly heat rash, started of in patches then all over my arms and legs, looked and felt horrible. GP gave me medication that helped but it always made me feel tired. A friend recommended this brand and type. No more prickly heat, no meds needed. Apply once and not burned once in 6 years. Amazing stuff

Sunscreen is in the news a lot now and we learn more and more about why we need it and different brands coming through. I suffer with prickly heat in countries where it’s super hot. Having gone to Turkey, I knew I was likely to get it so having done some research opted for this. Well I used it for 4 1/2 days and was absolutely fine, the last part of the holiday it had finished and I switched to a supermarket brand and within a few hours It started!! I love how this goes on, it doesn’t feel clogging or make you sweat. I will be buying this again for sure. Even nice on your face!! Yes it’s a higher end product and yes you can buy sunscreen for a few £ BUT this stuff is amazing, if you have sensitive skin or heat rash, this is what you need

I have very sensitive skin, and normal sun creams bring me out in tiny blisters that eventually peel and become quite sore. Even just a bit causes me problems. So, I was quite amazed that this did not cause me any problems at all, and not only that, it kept me milk bottle white after a week in Greece.If you are sensitive to the usual sun creams, this is worth a look, but keep in mind that it doesn’t seem to let anything through, despite being a factor 30.

Brilliant for sensitive skin, fair skin and prone to prickly heat. I have suffered with prickly heat for many years and resorted to anti histamines and covering up affected areas with loose cotton clothing. Being able to find something that has kept this at bay without the eruption of spots/rash (itchy just doesn’t describe how miserable it is). I am fair skinned and this ultra sun has proved excellent. I apply at least 15 mins prior to going out, its light none greasy doesn’t have the smell that most sun creams do but rather lose the smell and be able to enjoy the sunshine. I reapplied when necessary I used on my face without any issues but I am no expert this is just my personal opinion on what I deem an absolute godsend. Wished I had found it sooner.

Absolutely wonderful sun cream. The most effective one I have ever used. Didn’t burn, applied it as per instructions and was only needed once a day although I was in and out of the water.

Always use these sun creams. They last so well protection wise, if you are in particularly hot weather 35 degrees plus and in and out of the water, sweating and in the sun all day I would put two applications. But very effective sun protection even for sensitive skin. The higher the factor the greater protection of course.

After a lot of research I decided to buy this suncream. My dad is badly allergic to an ingredient called butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane / avobenzone and exposure to this chemical has meant he has been admitted to hospital several times. Even if he's downwind from someone spraying sunscreen with this chemical he swells up and is seriously ill so it was vitally important that I get a safe sunscreen without this ingredient. Not only this, butyl methoxybenzoylmethane is toxic and repeated use stops the skin's natural protection against the sun, causing ageing and skin cancer. (Why this ingredient is still allowed into products I don't know! It must be cheap and profitable to use!) So even though I'm not personally allergic to it, I wanted to buy a suncream that was as safe as possible and won't cause long-term damage to my skin. Ultrasun is a really great cream. I wish I'd found it before. It doesn't leave a sticky residue and sinks into the skin like a really good moisturiser. My dad did a test patch and he had no reaction to it at all. I'm very happy with this brand and as long as they don't add butyl methoxybenzoylmethane / avobenzone then I will continue to buy this product and recommend it to family and friends. Another great benefit of this suncream is that it seems to stop prickly heat. Sun exposure irritates my skin and over the years I've just come to expect that I'll end up with prickly heat at some point in summer. But with this suncream my skin has been fine and there's no sign of any irritation. Highly recommended.

Great product easy to use and protected skin. Rubs in well only need to use once a day. Only thing the packaging looks like you get enough to last for a two week holiday for two people however we ran out and had to purchase another product while away.
