excellent!
I bought this after borrowing one from a local autism association. It is an excellent timer, great for visual children, and the beep is simple and not too loud for children with sensory issues. Makes every aspect of. our lifes easier, would highly recommend

Great visual reminder
Very simple idea but works. It has a section which shows in red for the set time and the red section reduces down as time passes. It beeps when the time is up.

Very happy.
Very clear face, easy to use. An expensive item but good time concept learning tool. Large enough to place out of reach but still be clearly seen.

Works for my family, easier concept of time, design development needed to increase longevity product and appeal to wider market.
-We've had this for 1 month. -IT WORKS VERY WELL FOR OUR FAMILY. -EASIER CONCEPT OF TIME : Some children are more easily motivated to mind about the time with gadgets like this. It works for mine. They enjoy setting it up and seeing the time/ red part get smaller until it's completely gone. Some children for various reasons may struggle with the concept of time / with reading analogue clocks and this type of timing device can help them tremendously. -DESIGN DEVELOPMENT NEEDED : Despite this brilliant and unique idea of visually demonstrating the concept of time , this product would do better with some further design development. It needs to be made sturdier which would extend it's life and make it suitable to a wider group. At the moment , it's suitable for those who need/ or may benefit from the motivational or visual aspect of this tool BUT THEY MUST ALSO BE gentle, cautious and non "clumsy" (and understand the concept of how things can break/ gravity etc...). But the reality is , this product is very much needed by all sorts of people who may either not understand how things break (for ex young children) or may do but may have difficulties coordinating or controlling their movements. There is a very wide variety of neurological problems that affect the control of movement and that a person may have ( including many adults) which means this product needs to be made stronger . It's a shame because it's otherwise such a good product. If this product only lasts with very heavy supervision so the person in need of it can not possibly break it , when in fact the whole purpose of the product is, on the contrary , to increase the independence and sense of achievement / self confidence of the receiver , then this product is not yet where it needs to be. The idea is excellent but it needs further development. I suggest : - 1 ) a rubbery type of material all the way round the frame of the timer to help hands grab it without it slipping too easily (although I have to say the plastic is not particularly slippery in itself but just not non-slippery enough for its targeted market) . This will also help absorb the chock when it falls . - 2) something that removes the need for those little feet at the back to make it stand on the table without falling backwards. Those fold-able little feet can't last long in my opinion. So , for example , they could make the frame much wider , and when it's wider it's then wide enough not to fall backwards. - 3 ) there should be an additional transparent hard plastic screen in front of the timer to protect it . As it is , if someone sat on it by accident , it will break the main mechanism that makes it work . IN SUMMARY : VERY GOOD IF YOU ARE ABLE TO MAKE SURE IT'S NOT GOING TO BREAK EASILY.

Expensive but worth it
It seemed a lot to pay for a big plastic clock, but it is currently the only thing that does the job it does. Excellent tool for children with learning difficulties who are visual and need clear boundaries. It enables them to see clearly how long they have left for an activity. I don't regret buying it.

Excellent while it worked, then it broke :(
This is a great concept for children who need a visual representation of time, but it's quite lightweight and flimsy and stopped working after we'd had it 5 months. I would have expected it to last a little longer.

brilliant
Very impressed...good visual aid for kids so they can see how much time is left. Bought it for my child with autism for school work but have used it also for facilitating turn taking with siblings and to give an end point to tv/ computer sessions and as a bedtime countdown. Easy to use, highly recommended.

Great
Does what it says on the tin...kids are always asking me...how does it work ? Hilarious. I use it as a tutor with exam practice sessions - nice & big enough for all to see wherever you are seated

It worked well for 2 months and all of a sudden the timer will stop at 1min and the alarm also stopped ringing.

Amazing product for time management! I really wish someone would have left better feedback when I purchased this timer a few weeks ago. Okay, so it's big and a huge visual reminder about how much time remains. It doesn't tick - which can be troublesome for most people. There is an option on the back to have it beep when the time is up or remain silent which is great. The timer is set by moving a clear plastic piece counterclockwise and the timer is always on. This is also large enough it could be mounted to a wall or used in a classroom setting. I use this for studying and it was suggested by a professional organizer. This is perfect to use with the Pomodoro Technique (focus on task for 25 minutes with 5 minute break - repeat). Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this product. I know the price tag is big for a timer which is exactly why I hesitated for so long but I really can't say anything bad about this and as long as I keep it in good condition I imagine it will last a very long time.
