Electric - M12 Fuel. 1/2 Drill-Driver

I primarily bought this for electro-mechanical assembly. It's a nice balance between being lightweight and powerful enough for my needs. I use it for drilling sheet steel and for combination drill taps. It's an ergonomic and high quality tool for medium duty. If you need a high power and high use tool, M18 would be a better choice.

My husband ordered this Milwaukee cordless drill because someone highly recommended this brand. This is the best drill he’s ever had! It is a very heavy duty drill. We had a big project that we were working on and this drill made life so much easier! I was helping him on this project so I got to use this drill too. Now, I have to say I never used a drill before until now. It was quite fun putting screws in with this drill after I got the hang of it. We were working long hours on this project so the battery died on it one day and I had to use an electric drill. That was no fun. Good news is the battery only took an hour to charge. Back in business! The battery does last quite a long time after it’s charged up. My husband and I high, highly recommend this drill.

As expected, the drill works great strong reliable fits in a tight area. Great tool. Also, it comes with a clip on side to hang from your waist of pocket.

I got this drill because it looked small and compact (which it is) and didn't need anything serious for miscellaneous things around the house. Have had it for a few months now and it hasn't disappointed! Surprisingly powerful and long lasting battery given its size. Haven't had the chance to really test it with any kind of wood working projects or anything of the sort, but definitely feel this thing has some power.

UPDATE: Ok I just bought a charger & batteries. This is a pretty nice little drill. It seems to have alot of power even with the small 3AH batteries. The charger came in plastic also, but seems / is new. Ok maybe thats Milwaukee modern packaging! If not for the price & extra ordering, I would probly rate it a 5. This is NOT a drill/driver - its a hammer drill. It may be really great, but not what I thought I was buying. Maybe its some upgrade? Seems im not the only customer with this issue. Not only that, it doesnt come with a battery or charger. It came without a box - in a plastic bag. Most products sold like that say: TOOL ONLY or batteries sold separately. Specifications only say: battery powered. Product seems new, but I cant use it to try it out. Shouldnt the listing say: HAMMER DRILL NO BATTERIES / CHARGER. WTF Amazon - you need to talk to this seller.

I have the M18 FUEL drill, it has a ton of power. I don't like the electric clutch, way to soft so the drill is on no clutch 99% of the time. This drill has a mechanical clutch and is superb. I have the M12 FUEL screw gun and that is fantastic with my only gripe is how easy the forward/reverse switch moves, a minor annoyance. This drill addressed that. I enjoy the size of all the M12 tools I have, impact gun especially. The LED light is also in a better spot than on the M18 tools.

Works great, small and compact.

Very capable drill in a nice, compact format. I use it with a 2A battery and get plenty done. The belt clip is quite helpful as well.

Great little drill. Have used it more than its two big brothers. It’s a great little drill with power. Just make sure to get a good battery the drill is only as good as the battery.
