The best that money can buy; especially for skin allergies and/or larger type breeds
For a spoilt Alpha male Retriever who prior to me owning him (or indeed him owning me 😁) researching brands cheap and not so cheap used to suffer with skin allergies.. had to have his anal glands emptied regularly and used to scratch his red inflamed skin intermittently; (both symptoms of skin allergies) tried the more ridiculously expensive brands (you know who you are!) to no avail; stumbled upon Arden’s adult large breed big bite and praise the Lord by Jove we’re onto a winner.. yes Retrievers are well known for being erm er walking dustbins but my boy was turning his nose up at other brands unless I (his maid!) sprinkled delights such as tuna sardines chicken you know the drill. However.. he always eats this.. whether it’s in its own or with stuff I add for a bit of extra goodness.. and his skin coat and general well being has never been better. Happy healthy dog= happy me. Hope it works for you too he’s now on his 3rd bag 🙌🏼🌸🌸🌸🌸

Best food I've bought.
My dog Bubba (20 month old Bullmastiff x Rottweiler) only gets this now. I was feeding him supermarket bought food and he was hyperactive with HUGE amounts of smelly, runny poop. Because the supermarket stuff was such poor quality, he needed nearly 2 KILOS of it a day - expensive as well. I discussed the problems with a nutrition expert at a local pet shop and he recommended this for while he was a puppy and young dog, then Burn's for when he's a senior. The kibble is large and substantial enough to allow him to chew it properly (whereas he has to pretty much swallow the normal stuff whole). He's always excited about eating, whereas he used to get bored of food within a week before and I was constantly changing brand. It's got quite a strong smell to it which he seems to like. Since eating this stuff, he produces two half poop bags full a day, whereas he used to fill up to 6 bags. He only needs to eat 480-500g of this stuff a day too, which means it costs me about £1.20 a day to feed him (it was costing about £3 a day with the "cheap" stuff, He's also calmed down massively and his coat is shiny, soft and dandruff free.

Fantastic food!
Fantastic food! !!!! A must for a healthy happy dog. Wish I had discovered this earlier, the reviews for this product on the Internet are brilliant, has good meat content!! And is cheaper from Amazon than anywhere else and delivered FREE!!!! Gutted was buying purina which is expensive and was slated online! may as well of fed my growing puppy cardboard, don't know how they get away with the comments on their packaging! This food is great, big bite sizes; had no trouble getting my dog to change brand as this obviously tastes so much BETTER!!!!!!! If you love your dog feed him the best ; I want a healthy dog for as long as possible ! Its the difference like feeding your dog toast instead of best steak! You just wouldn't do it, this is one of the best on the market I've found :) :)

Moving to this food was the best thing I've ever done for my girl
Absolutely delighted with the quality of this good. I've been feeding this to my young Leonberger for over a year now and have been consistently impressed with her condition and how much she enjoys the food. Having had problems with previous brands I needed something gentle and without lots of the garbage so many foods have. This ticked the boxes for me. Her coat is in beautiful condition and when we go to Dog Shows I've had many people ask what she is fed as she has a beautiful glossy sheen. She is an extremely active dog so it is vital that she gets good quality food and as a giant breed I was very conscious that Glucosamine, Chondroitin, etc. were vital in supporting her through her growth periods. On a more delicate subject, her poop is great, haven't had problems since we switched and she is very sensitive to some dog foods.

HQ ingredients with no harmful/qustionable additives. Good for sensitive stomachs.
We have an aging Alsatian with a sensitive stomach & skin condition for which the vet has tried every medicine he could think of - with poor results. On a visit to a dog shelter, one of the handlers recommended trying a change of diet. They used Arden grange there to feed a large number of different breeds. Within 3 months of switching to AG, there was a significant improvement in the sheen and look of her coat. Additionally - her skin condition cleared up completely. Now she is more lively & energetic than before. We are convinced it’s the quality of the ingredients & rejection of artificial additives in this formulation - that's made the difference. Her stool is much more solid & healthy looking now (part of this might be due to the switch to dry food). Now that she is 8 years old - the additional glucosamine, chondroitin & msm should hopefully help maintain her hip joints, into old age. The larger size & biscuit-like firmness of the kibble - forces her to take her time & chew. This means her meal lasts over a longer period of time (more satisfying) & the kibble helps clean plaque off her teeth. Although it isn't the cheapest dog food available - we have clearly seen a marked improvement in the health & happiness of our dog. We will be sticking with this particular formulation from now on. Would be five stars, but the price seems to be creeping up faster than expected.

My dog was suffering from skin issues. We tried everything. But I'd deduced that her issues were more or less food-related. So we switched from Pedigree Pro to Arden Grange and now her coat is back to normal. She's more active now, too and looks less preoccupied with itching/licking patches on her skin that were irritated probably due to allergies. Sure, it is expensive but personally, spending unnecessarily on a Vet is redundant. Just feed your pup better instead. Saves a lot of pain for the both of you.
