What's a reflector bulb?

Chances are good you've seen one, but didn't quite know what you were looking at.
A reflector bulb - also sometimes called a crowned bulb, half-chrome bulb or mirrored bulb

How are half chrome bulbs used?

- Use reflective recessed bulbs to direct light into the can, which then reflects the light out and around the bulb to create a diffused, eclipse-like effect.
