Great value for the features
Pros: • Strong quartz direct drive motor • Dual Start/Stop for DJs that prefer their units sideways • S-Tone Arm • Feet - Level Adjustable & Shock absorbing • Weight - 10.0 kg (22 lbs.), without dust cover • 3 speeds, manual (33 1/3, 45, 78 RPM) • Adjustable Brake Tension • Full Die Cast Aluminum – NOT Plastic • Pitch range +/-8 %, +/-16 %, +/-50 % (ultra pitch) • Phono and line out (amplified no grounding required) • Weight: approx. 11.7 kg (25.8lbs) – w/o optional dust cover – Heavy • Solid buttons that do not feel cheap – soft rubbery touch • Adjustable arm height • Anti-skating adjustment • Adjustable tone arm counterweight • Tonearm Lower/Lift arm • Mounts for hinged dust cover • Queuing light (also good for viewing dust) Cons: • Expensive Dust Cover - not included • Must be played with dust cover up – counterweight will hit • Possible con - Cartridge/headshell - not included • No storage location for 45 adapter - not included I have this unit paired with an Audio-Technica VM540ML cartridge (great balance between clarity of highs and lows while maintaining the softness most people expect with turntables) and it’s a match made in heaven. The price for performance is outstanding and would easily beat the cheaply made Technics SL-1200MK7 costing more than double the price. Recommended accessories: • Dust cover • Turntable Cartridge/arm alignment/scale kit • Velvet Brush/Liquid (Or classic Discwasher D3/D4 – NOT RCA D4+) • Antistatic cleaning brush • Rubber mat (Included thin felt mat is a static magnet) • Zerostat gun • Shielded cables to prevent possible hum others have noted

Excellent analog for the Technics 1200’s
I’ve had a pair of 1200’s (mkII & mkIIId) for almost 30 years. I needed a high quality replacement for taking to remote gigs. Overall they’re great. One of the pitch controls does wander a hair, but nothing crazy. The raised platter is nice for quick manual speed jogging. The RCA and power is a nice feature for easier setup and breakdown. Overall an excellent choice.

High Quality Turntable with a Pesky Ground Hum Issue
The Reloop RK-7000 is built like a tank with most things that you need like tone arm height adjustment. What it does not have is a ground lift switch like some other models in this price range. This turntable hums when connected to a preamp and it is necessary to use a high quality audio cable and position the cable till it disappears. The turntable A/C cable does not have a ground so the ground on the turntable floats. The ground screw on the turntable does nothing. I am going to build an A/C ground tap plug and connect it to ground if the turntable to see if this helps. As for the turntable’s construction , it is of top quality. Speed is spot on. The anti-skate works well. The tone arm is of high quality and moves flawlessly. Braking is good. The sound is very good when connected to a preamp except for the hum issue. I gave it three stars because of the pesky hum problem. So I do not understand why Reloop builds a fantastic turntable and does not ground it to the A/C. I am keeping this turntable because I have overcome the hum problem by using a high quality audio cable with great noise rejection.

Stop overpaying for Technics when you can get these
It has a solid build and sounds great (sound varies based on the stylus). I could not be happier. Technics are overpriced and do not provide any benefit over these other than the name.

Disappointed from the moment I unboxed it
For starters, it came shipped as though it was brand new, all the packaging seemed perfect. Yet no power cord was included. Leading me to wait days longer while I ordered a new power cord. After playing several records at various speeds and pitch, it has become apparent that this particular turntable is defective. Very disappointing. Looks like I'll be returning and going back to the drawing board. I was hoping for so much more from this turntable.

My much loved modified Project RPM 5.1 belt drive turntable developed a motor fault which at the time seemed uneconomical to repair. I already have an Audio Technica AT-LP5, a direct drive turntable which I like a lot but felt the Project was better for serious music listening. Therefore, I began a research for a replacement belt drive turntable, similar in performance to it, but I was persuaded not to be close minded about listening to other direct drive turntables. To cut this saga short, I stumbled upon the Reloop RP-7000Mk2 and Pioneer PLX1000 DJ type direct drive turntables playing in a domestic situation sounding like high grade audiophile decks playing a wide range of musical styles from classical to reggae. My prejudices against such turntables quickly evaporated as it became clear that with the right cartridge, on a revealing audio system ( particularly using a high quality phono stage such as the excellent Rega Fono Mk3 ), these record decks were every bit as good if not better than my Project. So I decided to buy the Reloop over the Pioneer simply because the Reloop was less expensive yet sounded just as capable as the Pioneer and it is just as well constructed. It is supplied without a headshell which meant using ones by Audio Technica and Ortofon and I continued to use my Audio Technica AT 440MLB, a recently purchased Audio Technica VM95SH and a Nagaoka MP110 cartridge which I mostly use on the LP5 plus I have added a Funk firm Achromat platter mat sl1200 version and Premium Quality disc stabilizer which have proved to be pretty effective in improving the sound quality even further. The 7000Mk2 allows all these cartridges to demonstrate great detail retrieval, wide ranging dynamics, wonderful rhythmic timing and tremendous bass power and articulation. I have since repaired the Project but have not missed using it and is now my spare deck. Considering the Reloop is primarily designed to be used in dance clubs, it is one hell of an audiophile sounding turntable that would not be expected by its DJ deck looks. It makes me wonder whether the huge amount of money that can be spent on some highly regarded belt drive turntables is worth it, when a truly audiophile sounding DJ deck direct drive turntable can be bought for relatively low cost. Highly recommended, forget your pre-judgements of DJ decks.

I was hesitant at first to purchase this turntable but now that I have I have to agree with all the reviews I've read.It is built very well it sounds fantastic with a reloop concord black cartridge which is suggested only drawback is not having a place to put a 45 adapter but not a deal breaker. I'm glad I went with this turntable as My original idea was to refurbishe a 1200MK2 but glad I didn't go that route not that the other brand is not a good option but at least now I have a brand new unit that I don't have to worry about for many years to come.Still a fan of the 1200mk2 but now I don't need to look for a old school tech to refurbishe a 30 year old turntable.Koodos to people that do that to keep these great turntables alive but it wasn't an option for me.
