I needed this HDMI extension cord to wrap around my desk from the computer on the floor. It worked perfectly the first time I plugged it in. Full signal from my computer to smart TV. It's a little wiry and not the better flexible types, but it's not bad. I was able to unwind it and plug it in and wrap the whole thing behind my desk making about 11 or12 feet of wire length total.

The build quality is excellent, the connectors are high-quality with anodized aluminum bodies and a firm fit that provides good cable retention with no worry of accidental disconnections. I bought them because the way my OLEDs are mounted, there's no way for me to see the connectors and I've had to blindly feel my way to plug in cables, and these extend the inputs to where I can just see the female connector when the adapter is plugged in. Most of the cables going into it are 8K fiber optic, and these adapters work fine. One of the cables is a quite thick and stiff copper cable and using these adapters relieves strain on the TV's connector, because without it the cable sticks out about 15" which acts like a lever with the weight of the cable on the end of it, so not a healthy recipe for the longevity of that connector. But with the adapter it's cable droops much closer which eliminates much of the strain and transfers it to within inches of the TV's input connector. On another OLED, the space behind the tv and it's proximity to a cabinet make it impossible to plug a cable in (without employing a lengthy string of expletives that would make even a sailor blush). If I could ask for anything to be improved with these adapters, it would be to address the slight twist in the orientation between the male and female connectors so that both connectors are in the same plane. With cables getting heavier and sometimes being installed in walls, it's sometimes tricky to get connectors to line up without some strain on their connectors. It's FIVE STARS out of 5 for me; I'll be buying more of these soon.
