Loved the set, block would be a piece of art on your counter. Unfortunately I purchased as a gift and the recipient didn't care for the colour. I thought they were stunning. The blades were beautiful. Never the less I had to return so I cant speak on the blades.. Never got to cut anything.. Wish I could have told you more.
