This brand was recommended to me as my protein levels are low. Taste (French Vanilla) is great. Easy to mix and it’s a work in progress as I understand it may take a few months for my levels to go up. But I feel I can see more muscle definition as an added bonus.

Positives: easy to drink, very like milkshake. Fewer calories than many protein drinks, which could be a bonus if you’re counting them or planning on drinking more than one a day. Negatives: personally, I find this cloyingly sweet which makes it feel like junk food. I have also noticed an odd new headache that started right after my first shake. I can’t prove it’s the artificial sweeteners. This shake has sucralose and acefulfame k, the latter of which I haven’t knowingly tried before, but it’s in Coke Zero, so if you tolerate that then this is probably ok. In the past another sweetener, aspartame, has given me a whomping headache. There is no aspartame in this product, but perhaps I’m discovering that I’m sensitive to more than one type of artificial sweetener. I get migraines. Some people have sweeteners as a trigger for the condition; if this affects you then you probably already have noticed. Acefulfame isn’t allowed in baked goods in Europe, but you should probably do your own Googleing about why that is and whether it troubles you. On a different note, I find the instruction to use ‘about one heaped scoop’ really frustrating and annoying. Just give your customers a scoop that’s the right size! It feels like a swizz to make people use the jar up faster than they need to.

Best flavour in my humble opinion, and I go for these smaller tubs as they are small and light enough to throw in your gym/work bag too. Mixes well with water, milk and natural/greek yoghurt too. Great taste, great macros, limited remnants left at the bottom of your shaker too, making cleaning easy with a couple of rinse and shakes. What’s not to like?!

As a Muslim this powder is just right since its vegetarian it is considered Halal, this is my first protein powder I was nervous at first however the taste is just amazing. Container is wellbuilt and sealed tightly therfore the powder doesn't stick together. Really can't go wrong with this, also comes with a scoop!!!

I don’t often write reviews, but wow this protein powder is nice. It doesn’t taste of protein at all, and the strawberry flavour is to die for! I have it with unsweetened almond milk and it tastes exactly like strawberry angel delight. Would drink this even if it wasn’t a protein shake and was just a normal milkshake - it’s so tasty.

Ich habe das Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein in der Geschmacksrichtung Vanilla Ice Cream ausprobiert – und bin wirklich begeistert! Der Geschmack ist angenehm süß, cremig und erinnert tatsächlich an Vanilleeis – nicht künstlich oder übertrieben, sondern genau richtig. Das Pulver löst sich hervorragend in Wasser oder Milch, ganz ohne Klumpen, und ist dadurch super praktisch für unterwegs oder direkt nach dem Training. Die Nährwerte sind top: viel Eiweiß, kaum Zucker oder Fett – ideal für Muskelaufbau und Regeneration. Auch die Verträglichkeit ist bei mir einwandfrei – kein Völlegefühl oder Magenprobleme, wie ich es bei anderen Produkten leider schon erlebt habe. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Produkt, das hält, was es verspricht. Ich werde es definitiv wieder kaufen. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein zuverlässiges und geschmacklich starkes Whey-Protein suchen!
