We have a 3 full bath home and live in the snow belt. This water heater never lets us down when it comes to hot water. Had to get used to waiting a little longer than a standard tank heater for the water to get hot but so worth it. More space in my utility room, clean and sleek looking on the wall, no more worrying about a leaking water heater, and should it ever need replaced you don't need two men to help get it out of the basement.

Excellent water heater. It provides plenty of hot water all over our 2500 sq ft house.

I bought this brand because I’ve been through two Ecosmart tankless heaters. Both of them were good for about a year and then the problems begin. I was fed up with bringing a multi meter down to the basement and spending an hour trying to diagnose which component had malfunctioned. Spent the extra money and went with Rheem because I’ve seen that brand at many expensive houses I work at. I installed the heater today and put it on 140 degrees to test it out. The water was so hot I couldn’t even touch it. Even when the Ecosmart units were brand new they never heated water like this. Rheem has a higher flow rate which makes all the difference. I highly recommend this unit and you should spend the extra money.

I bought this for a 3 bedroom home with 2 full bathrooms and it will not pass inspection. The county building inspector says I need to buy a new water heater because this one will not meet code requirements.

It was easy to install and has been working exactly the way they described it should. I have not had it long enough to say any more at this time. But so far so good. The Craftsman I had before this, it quit working only months after getting it and they replaced it twice with products that quit working almost immediately.

Cleaned up the look in the garage so much getting big tank water heaters out, takes a tad longer to get hot water started, but does seem to last well.
