I bought these broms for a dart frog vivarium and I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality. They both arrived unwithered and brightly colored with no obvious tears or bruises from shipping. One of them had the rootstock trimmed a bit too short but everything worked out fine regardless. Both plants are now settling into the background of my enclosure and putting out roots. I can't vouch for their organic or hitchhiker-free status of course but otherwise all around great plants. Very nice, would recommend if you need a couple of good cheap bromelieds to round out a tank.

I received these in the mail less than a week ago. i immediately put them in water as instructions for my other air plants have said. them I took them out today to water them again, and they already were dying, the leaves at the bottom of the plants are already brown and dry. I am not happy with this purchase! i would like fern the company to replace them and tell me what is different about their care from all of the other air plants I have. *** Addition to my previous review: I have been doing air plants for 12 years and I have NEVER had air plants die as quickly as these did!!! they are now just dead brown, brittle plants! i have tried to save them with soaking in water for the recommended time, I have tried air plant fertilizer, etc. there was no way to save these plants. i will NEVER order plants from this company again!!!

Plants arrived well packaged and in pretty good condition. They're darker than the product photos lead you to believe, hence one less star, but still a gorgeous deep maroon color. Had them a couple of weeks and they still look good and healthy. One looks like it's starting to form a pup, so looking forward to that!

I received 3 fireball pups, medium size and without so much as a single blemish, all quite healthy and deep red. I've been growing bromeliads for a couple decades now and am very happy with what I received. They were shipped the day following my order, so I received them well before the predicted delivery date - be prepared.

It was not a large plant like the description stated, plus it was mostly green and not red, and it looked dry. I'm very surprised because this company has great plants. Check out the photo here, where is the red?

This is so big, bright and vibrant. This is so far, the most exotic and exciting air plant in my collection. I have had this one for a week now. Seems this one is exceptionally easy to care for. Simply filling the bulb cup with water . Let it sit and absorb for 20 minutes every week. Let it dry upside down. Apply the fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks. The placement for the right amount of sun to keep the red/maroon hue without burning will be the most difficult. 5 to 10 inches away from a window - and think shadow, not direct sun. This is definitely a show stopper and conversation piece! Perfect for you and perfect as a gift.

Great product! These arrived well packaged and in great shape, even after traveling through cold temperatures. They are clean and brightly colored and made an excellent addition to a bioactive terrarium.
