Do they work when wet?

They do work in the wet but only problem is I don't work in the wet

What does the date on these pipes signify

It's the date of the manufacturer. Black colour are good for 5 years from that date. Sheathed Stainless Steel are guaranteed for life (we believe)

Will the female end this fit a 4.5 kg calor bottle?

When I got mine from the company the washer on the female end was incorrect and we used more gas I called out a gas engineer explained not only was the wager faulty the whole thing was out of date when I complained to the company they were very rude But it will fit I would not recommend the quality or service

Will two of these connect to each other?

This hose is made to join the gas bottle to a wall mounted regulator and I believe that the regulation would require that you use only one continuous line. They can be obtained in longer lengths.

Did you know that Butane freezes at temperatures approaching zero degrees so is of little use during cold spells.For winter touring you require propane (the red bottle) as this can easily cope with british extremes. Good product at a very good price

Cracking service and product. The rubber hose was slightly thinner than the one I removed so I was a little worried at first but on, fitted and working in no time and works like a dream. I the price was fantastic, much cheaper than most caravan shops, in fact a third of the price!!

Safety first, good seller

Good hose. Replaced my out of date hose.. YES THEY DO HAVE A USE BY LIFE, CHECK YOURS.... REMEMBER THESE HOSES HAVE THE FULL PRESSURE OF THE CYLINDER IN THEM. Be safe, dont risk it for a tenner.. Fittec mine on my coachman when i moved from butane to propane, dont forget to get a suitable spanner,
