Vetoquinol - Ipakitine 180g - Renal Insufficiency - Dogs and Cats

My cat was struggling with renal food and losing weight. Out of desperation I thought I would try this. At the last visit to the vet, she had put on a little weight after about two weeks of using the powder. Now I give her just over half the teaspoon (because she is about 2.5 Kg in weight) every morning and evening mixed in with ordinary food. During the day I feed her renal food so that she has variety in her diet. I would recommend anyone who is struggling to feed their cat with a total renal diet to give it a try.

Finding Ipakitine was a HUGE relief for me-one of my cats has early kidney disease and can smell a supplement in his food a mile away! Once he gets wind of "something" in his food he won,t eat it and I was faced with the prospect of either letting him go hungry-not really an option-or just ignoring the kidney problem and let him enjoy what time he has left. Ipakitine has been a game changer! Its tasteless and very easy to hide in his food. He is well, not losing weight and is enjoying seemingly rude health! I highly recommend this product! Its amazing! I combine it with a non-sodium Potassium powder and his blood work is stable.

On the advice of the vet the cat needed to be fed specific food to deal with a renal condition that was developing. The cat food was very expensive (even purchasing bulk) and the cat did not like it, tried different brands to no avail. The cat lost a lot of weight and also her fur deteriorated. Purchased this product which is just sprinkled on normal cat food, works a treat, last visit to vet showed an improvement and cat loves being back on her favourite food.

It's helping my Japanese Akita eat more. He has kidney disease and seems to be doing much better when I add this product to all his food

After failing with the renal prescription diet this is a godsend. My 21 year old cat has put on weight, is calmer and more like his former self. Don't know why the vet didn't suggest this but recommended a low protein diet most older cats will turn their noses up at. Add some probiotics and a few drops of cod liver oil every few days and that will go a long way towards making cats with chronic kidney disease more comfortable

Pas pratique et aucun effet

J'ai un chat âge de 16 ans, il n'était pas très bien, à cause de l'insuffisance rénal détecté par le vétérinaire. J'utilise de produit chaque jour mélangé dans un peu de pâté, en plus d'une alimentation pour chat atteint d’insuffisance rénal et depuis mon chat à repris une seconde vie, il est en pleine forme ! Je suis certaine que ce produit permet de lui prolonger sa vie. De plus, c'est économique, la boite me dure environ 2 mois. Très satisfaite.
