Great book. Tells the truth about Hollywood that everyone should read.

Perfect condition!

This book gives an interesting, if deliberately solacious, insight into early Hollywood scandals. The writing is tabloid-level, and a lot of the language used would not be tolerated now. It’s an easy read though, with lots of pictures, and I was unfamiliar with most of the stories it covers. It does though verge on making light of some very tragic incidents – there are many tales of suicides, murders, child abuse, and serious drug addiction. And a hell of a lot of lesbians!

Some titillating tales but a bit disappointing overall, very short chapter style of this book means you never learn more than a few snippets about each star,

Whether some of the stories have been exaggerated or not, it still makes for a good 'pick up, put down' read

This book is about the beginnings of Hollywood. The dangerous underbelly of the film world. It has murder, intrigue, and the dark secrets into which Hollywood was founded.
