Bambino Mio, Nappy Bucket, Perfect Storage for Reusable Nappies

I'm ashamed to say I'm a dedicated disposables girl on the nappy front, so I actually bought this for laundry rather than nappies. It's a good sturdy bucket with a close fitting lid (closes tight by flipping the handle down). I use a mesh laundry bag inside. When soaking soiled baby clothes with the lid on it doesn't smell, but can't comment on nappies.

The bucket is great, stops any smells from nappies escaping and seals easily too. I haven't used the laundry bag much as our walking machine doesn't seem to like the way the weight of the load is distributed in it. Plus it's a bit if a faff to put on but a clever idea.

This is a sturdy and easy to use nappy bin. The washing bags make it easy to transfer wet/soiled nappies to the washing machine. The locking mechanism is good for deterring babies/toddlers from getting into the bin; however, it would be fairly easy for a toddler to figure out (although I haven’t had this issue because I keep it in a cupboard). The only downside is that the price is high for what is essentially just a plastic bucket with a lid and two mesh bags. However, it does keep the smell in and comfortably holds 6 AIO nappies, so no complaints about the product itself!

Decent strong bags, perfect for the job! Hold a decent amount of nappies in the nappy bin and save them having to be handled.

Really like this little bucket. Ive been using it for disposable diapers at the moment (considering moving to cloth diapers) and it works really well. Keeps the smell in even when the cap is on but not locked. The size could be bigger but it's ok. Much cheaper than other available options and doesn't require special bags.

In all honesty we don’t use this as much as we thought as dirty cloth nappies/ washable wet wipes go straight in the machine, but it’s good value and functions very effectively. The nets can be a bit tricky to get round the hooks which keeps them in place, but then they do stay there once in! The lockable handle function also helps keep prying hands out, and is sturdy. It’s also easy to clean, and isn’t too intrusive. It’s also very light when empty!

The bucket it's a good size easy to carry with the handle etc. However my mesh bag broke in the wash, the draw string came out and ripped up after the first use! I contacted Amazon and arranged them to pick it up the next day but they didn't come, eventually came a week later but I'd give up by then and didn't have it to hand so that was a complete waste of money. Only 1 broke the other is still going strong.

It seems like the lid is a little loose but I have since learned this is perfectly normal for a nappy pail. A good little product. Fits about a day's worth of good nappies and liners

I was very pleased with this product. I read the reviews carefully, and eyed the dimensions. Personally I sometimes feel a limited connection with some moms, because most have their own home and more space for things. I live in a small apartment, where space is precious. It's what I would call cozy, but potentially messy if not kept organized. So you can imagine my anxiety about going the cloth diaper route! This pail helped alleviate a lot of that anxiety. I love the handle so I can easily carry it from spot to spot, even out to the coin operated laundry and not feel awkward. It IS in the smaller range of things, so be sure you pull out a ruler and understand the dimensions.. however, I never understood the big, bulky trash cans passed off as diaper cans anyway, and my logic was, the bigger the can, the more likely I would be to allow cloth diapers to pile up for an unecessary amount of time and then have to fish them out. This perfect little pail doesn't draw unecessary attention to itself either, and I don't feel like I have to devote a large amount of space to it. It can fit right in my bathroom, next to the toilet if I chose. Would most definitely recommed to a cloth diapering mom who intends to do her loads fairly regularly (probably not as accomodating for moms who are going to wait every few days though or may not have a lot of time). As I said, read the dimensions and decide how often you intend to use cloth diapers and how many. I myself will be using the starting recommended of 24, and will be using disposables occasionally when out, plus since I am a stay at home mother, I will have a little more leeway with getting laundry done than some. Kann leider nur 1 Stern geben für die Lieferung, die ging flott... Doch der Karton kam schon mit leichten Schäden rundherum an und der Eimer hatte am Deckel, sowie der Eimerboden, mit vielen starken Kratzern an. Es war definitiv keine Neuware die mir zugesandt wurde. Ging als leider wieder zurück.

I thought it would be a thicker plastic, not worth the money. Could of bought an ice cooler

The drawstring becomes untied in the wash so the items fall out not satisfied so ordering a laundry bag with a zip!
