Warm, windproof and easily breathable. Works well for winter among my other layers.

It is mostly comfortable, breathable when worn with the netted mesh positioned on the front and can also act as a stand in scarf if you don’t own one or forgot to wear it. With the material being slightly thicker than wool gloves. I can say it is windproof the only air getting through is the air you’ll be breathing through the front fabric. Why 4 stars and not 5? The only thing I found that makes this uncomfortable whilst wearing it is having facial hair or dry skin. The facial hair gets stuck in the material and gets yanked around and dry skin becomes warm and/or irritated under it. If you do not have dry skin or facial hair then these issues should not effect you when purchasing this item of clothing.

A good neck warmer but not really warm when on the ski lift and the cold wind is blowing. I have a double walled merino wool neck tube which is a lot warmer.

This work perfectly! It has breathable holes where your mouth is, so it doesn’t get stuffy or wet from condensation. You can also put it up over your head, under your helmet. It was extremely cold up in the northern Montana mountains, but this really kept my warm.
