RS-9027 Solar Powered Christmas Ornament Balls, 4-Pack

Poor packaging and a poor product. The item arrived in a box 4 times bigger then the items box with little padding. The plastic lid was off the box and the globes were scattered. My initial test indicated they would charge and work, tho one seemed dimmer than the rest. When put into use it became clear that this is a failure. It was overcast the first day so I wasn't concerned when only 2 of the globes worked. The next night 3 of them lit but didn't stay lit long. After rearranging, they all lit on the 3rd night but by 7:30 they were all so dim they might as well be out. Will send these back if they don't do any better in the next couple days.

I put these up on my outside trees. They are pretty, altho some don't get enough sun to fully charge. They are pretty even without being lit.

The plastic lid to the box they came in was torn up . I put them in the sun light for a day then put them in a dark place and they didn't work, because the batteries were out of juice . I put in new batteries and they are very dim.They were already put together and weren't in the bubble wrap they came with like they were a returned idem..?I don't want to send them back because its not worth the postage and handling . Just disappointed ..

The box clearly states these need at least 8 hours of full sunlight to charge properly, but in winter (even in Southern California) that isn't always easy. Also, I chose to hang these from the limbs of my outdoor tree, and by default a tree tends to provide shade that prevented full charging of certain globes. When they light, they do look pretty, if only for a couple hours before the battery starts to fade. The sensor does work well (turning on at dusk) and the cases survived rainy weather without allowing water into the globe. Overall, I enjoyed these added decorations, but I may have to mount them in other places next year to allow for full and direct sunlight -- perhaps hanging them on decorative iron posts along a walkway would be a solution. The price was right on however, so I can't complain too loudly.

These ornaments worked as expected. Although they're not the brightest, they do light up when it gets dark - even after fairly cloudy days. My kids loved checking them out each night to see how they looked.

Didn't light up. Returned all 12 of them.

These did not work after the first rainfall all of the electronics shorted out.
